Was Comey Fired Because The FBI’s Sights Were Turning Toward Trump’s Russian Mobster-Connected Business Ties?

What is President Donald Trump trying to hide?

That’s the question on everyone’s mind since Trump fired FBI director James Comey on Tuesday. What’s been learned since that Watergate scandal-invoking bombshell dropped has only underlined the question.

Comey had been seeking more funds to go where the investigation was taking the FBI, media reported Wednesday. The Justice Department called this assertion “totally false,” affirming that whatever trail Comey’s FBI was following will likely go no further.

There are also several federal and state grand jury investigations underway, it was revealed Wednesday, first reported by two bloggers—Claude Taylor with ties to the Democratic Party and Louise Mensch with ties to right-wing sites. What these panels are specifically looking at is not known, although foreign surveillance search warrants reportedly have been issued. The presumption is they are tracing the Trump campaign’s collusion with Russia to win the presidency.

Meanwhile, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Wednesday there would be no independent prosecutor to pick up where Comey’s FBI left off, slickly saying that would “impede current work.” And there was also news that New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has launched a grand jury investigation.

As the details around all these developments swirl—including claims by Republicans there is nothing to all of this—a tantalizing observation is emerging from investigative reporters who have been following Trump’s organized crime ties for months. What if the FBI investigation was heading into Trump’s mobster-connected business empire, including his partnerships with Russian oligarchs, where the president has broken racketeering, money-laundering and organized crime laws? This is the FBI’s expertise, not the murkier and harder-to-prove charge of Russian campaign collusion.

“There’s one camp that says there’s nothing to this. Which I think is garbage. There’s another camp that Trump was a mole, is a puppet, it’s all about collusion with respect to last year’s election. And I say the jury is out on that,” said James Henry, a corporate lawyer-turned-financial investigative reporter for DCReport.org, where his investigations have linked Trump and his team to Russian mobsters. “Let’s see the FBI investigation. Until we know what it is, the inside details on the FISA warrants or whatever they have, we won’t know.”

Then there is a third camp, Henry said, which holds that the FBI was probing Trump’s business ties with Russian organized crime.

“There’s a third camp, which is stuff I have been working on, is the organized crime,” he said. “This guy’s a mobster. He has all these dodgy business partners. He knew or should have known that they were involved in organized crime, money-laundering, racketeering. That’s pretty hard to deny. We see the people he’s been in business with. We see the deals over and over again. It’s in plain sight. That’s the theory I’ve been working on… You could make a case on good old-fashioned criminal law if you had a prosecutor.”

If you had a prosecutor—stop right there. What if what Trump’s trying to hide is more about protecting his fortune than seeking Russian help to win the presidency? Firing Comey, the nation’s top cop, and having the Senate Republican leader say there would be no independent investigator dampens the prospect. It is true that Comey will testify in the Senate next week and its Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed documents from Michael Flynn, Trump’s ex-national security adviser (who was fired for lying about talking to Russian diplomats about U.S. sanctions before Trump was inaugurated). But congressional investigations don’t end up in court like FBI investigations do.

But Trump is in court, where his fortune is on the line—and not just for stiffing contractors. His business partners have been sued by a private attorney, Fred Oberlander, on behalf of the public for tax evasion tied to a New York City high-rise in SoHo, where Trump’s co-owners include a Russian mobster and known oligarchs. The New York attorney general did not join this suit, but has empaneled a grand jury, whose focus is secret but is likely to involve the state’s financial laws.

There’s some evidence to suggest that Comey was pointed in this direction—toward Trump’s criminal activities—as the Russia campaign collusion investigation widened. When Comey testified in Congress in recent weeks, the best Democrats could do was ask if the FBI was investigating specific figures in Trump’s campaign and business deals. They were giving him dots to connect. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-CA, asked Comey if he knew of Russian mobster Felix Sater’s relationships to Trump. A higher-profile mention was Rudy Giuliani, who had one foot in Trump’s campaign and another in his Russian-connected deals.

Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy, the top Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, pushed Comey on Giuliani. On the political campaign side of the ledger, Giuliani told Fox News in October that a surprise was coming that would be a big blow to Hillary Clinton. The speculation then was that Giuliani’s allies in the New York FBI office had used a laptop taken from Anthony Weiner (the ex-husband of Clinton’s top aide) to push Comey to announce the FBI was reopening its inquiry of Clinton’s handling of classified emails. Comey told Leahy that they were looking at what happened inside the FBI and at Giuliani. Here’s the transcript of the conclusion of that exchange:

“It’s a matter that I’m very, very interested in,” Comey said.

“But are you looking into it?” Leahy replied.

“Correct,” Comey said.

Giuliani is also linked to some of Trump’s Russian partners, including Bayrock LLC, which helped Trump build a New York high-rise in SoHo and illegally hid the identity of another partner, Felix Sater. Bayrock hired Giuliani’s law firm to create a shell corporation based in the Netherlands that a new hour-long Dutch TV documentary called an international “money-laundering” operation.

When it comes to incriminating Trump, Russian campaign collusion may yet be proven. But there is no denying what journalists are finding out about Trump’s ties to Russian oligarchs and mobsters. That business is the FBI’s specialty, said Henry, who wondered aloud if this was the direction they were headed—if following the evidence trail leads to more than the 2016 campaign.

“I do know the FBI people involved in it were pretty impressed with the scope of the investigation and eagerness to get to the bottom of a lot of this stuff,” Henry said.

In the meantime, the documentary by the Netherlands’ Zembla TV, “The Dubious Friends of Donald Trump, Part 1: The Russians,” traces Trump’s Russian mob-connected business partners, and it is damning. “In the case of Bayrock, we have a company that is led by people who have extremely shadowy backgrounds and profiles,” said Michael D’Antonio, a Trump biographer and Pultizer Prize winner. The narrator says they will show that Bayrock “has connections with the Russian mafia. One of the owners is allegedly involved in the prostitution of minors. And Bayrock is setting up shady business deals in the Netherlands.”

The documentary’s crew went to New York City, where they interviewed attorney Oberlander, who is leading the citizens’ suit against Bayrock for massive tax fraud. “Anybody who is running a business through a pattern of crime is guilty of racketeering. Anybody who is helping them is guilty of racketeering conspiracy and they go to jail. And anybody injured by what they did can sue for triple damages,” he told the film crew, referring to Trump’s possible racketeering role.

If the question is what Trump is hiding by firing Comey, it could be more about concealing his business dealings like the partnership with Bayrock than seeking Russian help to win the presidency.

So far, it’s been fairly apparent how Trump’s policies are helping Russia. His rejection of climate change policy helps a country with no green energy infrastructure and where fortunes are still to be made in gas and oil drilling. His reluctance to do anything new with the Ukraine maintains the status quo. He also has apparently rejected calling for Assad, Syria’s brutal dictator and Russian ally to step down, again leaving Russia no worse off.

Meanwhile, domestically, Trump seems to be copying what unfolded in Russia after the Soviet Union broke up and several dozen oligarchs and mobsters emerged with control of the country’s mineral wealth: he’s setting the stage with executive orders for a similar giveaway, including the possibility that some of Trump’s private investors from Russia could end up with stakes in newly freed-up U.S. mineral assets.

“This is a land grab,” said Henry. “If you don’t get that Putin and the Russians transferred a hell of a lot of wealth of the Russian government to a handful of 25 oligarchs. Right now there are five states in the U.S. that are roughly 80 percent or more owned by the federal government. Trump has just issued executive orders that will open up a lot of that land, either to outright privatization or to mining deals like we’ve never seen before.”

“There’s nothing ideological,” Henry said. “What connects all of these people in the Trump government is they are all about money. This is going to be a huge payday for these people and their friends. At the end of the day, they take care of themselves.”

What if Comey’s FBI was onto this game plan? What if they shifted their focus beyond Russian campaign collusion to Trump’s mob ties, his unprosecuted illegal concealment of his Russian investors, his tax evasion, and other money laundering schemes that put Trump’s fortune, business empire and possibly his presidency at stake? What if the simplest solution was just to fire Comey and to pressure McConnell to go along? Not that the Senate Majority Leader needed much persuading.

“McConnell received a million-dollar contribution from Russians back in October that we know about,” Henry said. “There was a million-dollar contribution to the Senate leadership PAC in the name of a New York company owned by Len Blavatnik.” Blavatnik is a Russian-born billionaire-oligarch who invested in aluminum companies in Russia and became a U.S. citizen decades ago.

      1. dtgraham May 12, 2017

I saw a half hour documentary on Catherine one time. She was just a wild child. She actually set up a system where a female staffer would often take a male suitor for a test run and then give her a full report on his abilities. Aaah, nothing wrong there. Women can do anything men can do.

Amazingly, Queen Victoria wasn’t too far behind in that department as a younger woman. Completely different than the stereotype. She established a secret Scottish sex castle after Albert’s death, which explains all the Scottish blood in the British royal family. She was particularly fond of a rugged Scotsman named John Brown whom she described as being, “so handy about cloaks and shawls.”

        Not sure who Elle is.

Blaming Comey for the way he handled the Hillary Email scandal is a howler, and Trump knows that a lot of Americans will swallow that swill.
The sad part is that Trump has the GOP by the nose, just leading them around like sheep following a sheepherder.

    1. idamag May 12, 2017

Republicans are following their fantasies. Most of them are steeped in anger, fear and hate. There used to be an old untrue saw that pornography created sex offenders. No, sex offenders are drawn to that which feeds their fantasies. Republicans are drawn to that which feeds their fantasies. Many of our legislators get wealthy along with the titillation of their money dreams.

republicans also seem to have an extraordinary interest in sexual fantasies as well.

Your image of what attracts us is a succinct one, and describes a fundamental aspect of the physical and spiritual worlds. To quote an epigram that demonstrates the power of “compatible” qualities, and the contents of which are known universally, is the following by Baha’u’llah in His “The Hidden Words”(from the Persian Section):

“O SON OF DESIRE! Give ear unto this: Never shall mortal eye recognize the everlasting Beauty, nor the lifeless heart delight in aught but in the withered bloom. For like seeketh like, and taketh pleasure in the company of its kind.”

So, your astute note about those who have negative characteristics being attracted to others with similar qualities is a fact intuitively recognized in the East and the West

Lets see, after investigations that have been running nearly a year, the only tangible proof at this point are admitted 30,000 deleted EMails after subpoena was issued, hundreds of Secret, Top Secret and beyond, documents, “Carlos Dangers’ Sticky Laptop, coordinated collusion of Huma in the cover up and the overall super-botched investigation of hillary’s Treasonous actions.

Also, don’t forget Benghazi, the coordinated clinton-crime-family-foundation cash and sale of SOS ops, uranium deal with Russia and so many other botched investigations America has lost count.

Comey was the Left’s Security Blanket circa Charlie Brown’s buddy, Pig-Pen.

The missing proof of any Russian Connection, so far, after months of investigation, should enable a Rational Thought Process on this blog? 🙂

    1. yabbed May 12, 2017

You dream on. Trump is going down bigly. Federal court 4th district has 2 grand juries operating and have already two seal indictments and are proceeding strongly. AG Scneiderman in NY is going to RICO Trump bigly. There is no escape.

      1. idamag May 12, 2017

And the criminal element that elected him will be hated.

      2. RichFromShowMe May 12, 2017

Should anyone assume you have FACTS to back up your conjecture?

There are tangible FACTS to back up the cases where Director Comey and previous Director Holder dropped the ball on investigations.

Here are a just a few.

        1. yabbed May 12, 2017

The Federalist Society is an affront to our Constitution.

Comey was fired for his investigation of Trump, et.al. But he and the FBI will get the last laugh on the OrangeBuffoon. He is going down hard.

          1. RichFromShowMe May 12, 2017

I don’t necessarily disagree with your assumption as you know nothing of the Federalist Society or dozens of other references to wrong-doing by our elected folks.

I, personally, welcome a thorough investigation of the “imaginary” Russia-Trump connection and an honest investigation of the Treasonous acts of Hillary.

And, let the cards fall where they may . . . it’s long past time to clean the cesspool in Washington, deCeit.

He tried to sell arms to Colombian outlaws!
          They wanted to murder Americans!
Eric Holder, and the FBI, placed him behind REAL bars!!

          1. RichFromShowMe May 12, 2017

Spot On . . . Viktor Bout got what he deserved. U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara was actually the man responsible for convicting Bout and he did work for Eric Holder.

Now that you mention “gun running” what about the Fast & Furious atrocity by Eric Holder that led to at least one American Border Patrol Officer and, probably, hundreds of other Mexican and American citizens murders?

Eric was directly complicit in the Fast & Furious murders. Hopefully AG Session and his U.S. Attorney will do their duty when they try the murderer who is headed to the USA.

          2. greenlantern1 May 14, 2017

Does the NRA sell guns in Mexico?
Did it ever denounce Viktor Bout?

          3. RichFromShowMe May 14, 2017

The NRA does not sell guns in Mexico as the guns in Mexico are smuggled in, often in exchange for drugs. Their mules carry both ways.

Viktor Bout is not a member of the NRA. This would be equivalent to obamba, Rice and/or “the witch” apologizing to the families of the victims of the Benghazi murders; i.e., they laid the blame on the video and openly lied for several weeks, probably still to this date.

Leo RichieBitchie knows his boy is going down. That he has to grope for Benghazi while ignoring the 5 Navy Seals Trump killed is a teatament to RichieBitchie’s ability to distort facts.

Like Trump, who tried to blame Obama for Flynn’s clearance, Bitchie Boy won’t admit that there wouldn’t have BEEN any deaths if the Republicans hadn’t refused to give the state department what they are now giving to Big Oil Tillerson: adequate funding.

Not to worry. RichieBitchie will be among those we plan to name as a Traitor when his Traitor in Chief goes down for treason.

This country has never been so close to Russian takeover thanks to Trump. When I was a child, I recall how my parents and the rest of the country KNEW Russia was an enemy who tried to use Cuba to get rid of AMericans. Now RichieBitchie is siding with the very same enemy.

What’s so great about being a Metro area inhabitant? Well let’s see, I’m also 45 minutes from Princeton. Not more than an hour and a half from Yale, Harvard and MIT. I also have the advantage of living near the world’s most famous city New York and love Manhattan. I also have friends who work on Wall Street and others who work in the entertainment industry.

          4. RichFromShowMe May 12, 2017

AG Lynch, seemingly, in concert with the clinton-crime-family, obamba and Director Comey have pretty much determined Khattala’s fate when they brought him to America for trial . . . tangible evidence is needed by our Justice System and little remains after all these years.

Will he get off with time served and will he sue America for the “free” trip here?

          9. greenlantern1 May 14, 2017

With Sessions as our AG; he might!!

          10. RichFromShowMe May 14, 2017

Well, at least we have tangible proof that with obamba, President Jarrett, Directors Holder and Comey and AG Lynch there is no doubt he has “gotten off”, to date.

I think we should give Sessions a little more than a couple of weeks . . . and while at it, give President Trump a little more than 100 days to turn our faltering “ship of state” around. 🙂

          11. greenlantern1 May 14, 2017

            45 minutes from BROADWAY?

    5. Gilbert West May 12, 2017

Well, we don’t know what “proof” there is… “Proof” is offered at trial, not during a press conference. Anybody familiar with the prosecution of a federal case knows that the feds always surprise you… so to get overly anxious and declare there is no “proof,” is premature. A typical case against a drug dealer takes 2 years or so….Here we have high treason, influence peddling, racketeering…if they catch this monkey tied to racketeering…he is gone forever. Nobody really gives a damn about emails. This jackass just threatened a federal agent…. WHY?

      1. RichFromShowMe May 12, 2017

Proof as legally defined is “evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement”.

Until an investigation of existing tangible proof that hasn’t already been destroyed (due to absence of an investigation) PROVES innocence or guilt of “advertising” national secrets to any hacker with a modicum of talent, we won’t know PROOF from conjecture . . . which is why we need honest investigations of both the imaginary Russia-Trump connection and “hillary’s email crimes”.

  5. greenlantern1 May 12, 2017

Our ONLY, fired, special prosecutor was Nixon’s first, Archibald Cox!
    Who fired him?
    Attorney-General Robert Bork!
Didn’t Sessions try to seat him on the SUPREME COURT?

  6. yabbed May 12, 2017

NYC’s know this story very well.

  7. Mama Bear May 12, 2017

I keep asking myself – “self (that’s what I call myself), what are all the reasons the rethugs are ignoring this?” Well, the one answer that keep rising to the top of my list is that there was/is a knowledge and complicity somewhere at the top in the Russian hacking and interfering. Not just Humpty Trumpty, but high up in the entire party. I am just hoping that Comey will spill his guts and help someone ferret out all the cockroaches in this kitchen.

    1. pisces63 May 12, 2017

They bragged so long about what they could do if in charge!! They’re in charge and to admit they landed in a pile of cow chips would be too much like right. Look at B**ch McConnell, there is no need for an outside investigation. The house is falling. If you’re living in a glass house and they keep throwing stones. NOW, trump is threatening and ranting at Comey on twitter.

      1. idamag May 12, 2017

Putin might already be putting someone in place to take care of Comey for trump.

        1. Gilbert West May 12, 2017

Putin is more likely to take care of Trump so that he can hog-up Trump’s share of the deals they put together…Remember Mikail Khordokovsky? Comey isn’t a threat to Putin… Trump is.

    2. idamag May 12, 2017

Coincident: I call myself the same thing. As hard as it is to believe, we probably do have some very bad people in Congress. McConnell for one. He got in with the help of those barefoot, butt-scratching, tobacco spitting hillbillies in his state.

      1. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

Why McConnell believes he and he alone has the power to stop these investigations or from the deman for a special investigator is anyone’s guess.

        1. idamag May 12, 2017

That kkk member of the backwoods should also be investigated.

      2. stcroixcarp May 12, 2017

Now his wifey has a cushy job in the trump cabinet. I wonder if McConnell’s butt -scratching voters know that Mitch’s wife is the daughter of an important Chinese businessman.

  8. Rose Simmons May 12, 2017

As long as Trump was able to sabotage and stall the investigations into his and his associates Russian connection he highly praised Comey every chance he could get for months up until a couple of weeks ago when everyone’s attentions, including Comey’s, intensified and their focus returned to The Russian Affair investigation. I would guess in the quiet time Comey was gathering information. Then the Sally Yates bombshell which brought everything to a head.
Add to this I can’t see Comey on his own, while forking food into his mouth, out of nowhere and for no reason, tell Trump he is no under investigation without Trump first opening the subject.

    1. idamag May 12, 2017

Comey just might end up in a fatal accident, like falling out of a ten-story window.

      1. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

I so agree. At this point, no one really knows what Trump discussed with Lavrov and Kiselyak yesterday. Trump claims it was all about Syria. Why would anyone believe that when he and fat boy Kiselyak emerged shaking hands and grinning like 2 Russian bears. Smell another Trump business deal?

      2. pisces63 May 12, 2017

Considering how many of the foes of Putin’s are dropping like flies, I felt that unease when they showed those buffoons leaving the Oval Office, laughing. Sent chills down my spine.

        1. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

Thus far, Putin poisoned Nemtsov twice before he finally succumbed. Another dissenter was shot on a public street in Moscow. 2 others were claimed to be “missing.” When they were found, their bodies were found on remote rural roads their families all said they have no reason to have traveled.

Thus far, Putin has killed off 34 dissenters and journalists.

Trump will give the command and his fat ass thug security boys will do the dirty work.

Interesting though that he back pedaled yesterday on who made the decision to fire Comey. First, Contwat, Specious Spicer and Huckabee’s daughter Sarah, all claimed it was Rosenstein, the acting FBI Dir.

When that came out, Rosenstein threatened to resign. Trump knew that was following the same patterns that occured in WaterGate and so he then told the MSNBC interview, “I made the decision,” effectively making liars of his own asskissers.

          1. pisces63 May 12, 2017

The one bright spot of my day is listening to replayed bits of the Lester Holt interview and then the amazement by the hosts of the programs on NPR. Now, 1A.

      3. Gilbert West May 12, 2017

or Trump could have a fatal accident dying his hair… The Russians don’t want him to become a liability…

    2. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

Was the meeting yesterday with Kiselyak and Lavrov not an indictment of Trump’s links to Russia? He hasn’t smiled that much since Hillary conceded the election.

    3. Gilbert West May 12, 2017

I hope Comey was smart enough to wear a wire…Anything you say can and will be held against you, and Trump just can’t keep his mouth shut. A RICO prosecution and conviction would be a good way to put Trump to rest. The Forfeiture of Assets would probably give him a heart attack.

      1. Rose Simmons May 12, 2017

Trump twittered a threat directed to Comey this morning stating – James Comey better hope there was no “tapes” of our conversation before he starts leaking to the press! In anyone’s opinion that is an open threat in writing.

  9. idamag May 12, 2017

Idaho is one of those states that they are trying to steal our public lands from us. Maybe we will have a yuuuge gambling resort at Old Faithful in Yellowstone Park and maybe the Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park will be sold to the Russians. Firing Comey would be akin to Al Capone being able to fire Elliot Ness. What a horrible mess the poorly educated have gotten us into.

  10. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

Yesterday, Trump breached National Security big time. Where the hell was the NSA when the Ruskies were invited by Trump to a meeting at the White House? According to Russia’s top new media source, TASS, they were allowed to take photos in the White House.

Trump bars Americans from being on the sidewalk outside the White House but allows a known Russian enemy to be welcomed with open arm?

Trump felt like a real jerk because as usual, Mr. Defiance, thought his little “I’ll Show THEM!” game allowing Kisleyak and Lavrov and their Russian photographers to have full access to the White House was immediately all over TASS media outlets. Nothing in US news. They weren’t allowed. But TASS? Well sure.

Now let’s all pretend that not a single one of Putin’s former TASS KGB spies didn’t use the bathrooms in the White House and while they were doing their “business” were also bugging the place?

Trump is now guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors for refusing his own country media to attend a meeting of Trump, Lavrov and Kiselyak, who by the way has previously met with Jared Kushner, Trump’s cuckold son-in-law, Manafort and Flynn.

Why is it so dangerous to allow Russian TASS media in the White House? How secure do you feel now knowing the Russians hacked into the elections and already have tons of voter information they can use for “other” purposes and now they also have access to the White House?

Now you know why Trump really fired Comey. Not because of Hillary’s emails or even because of Comey’s “bad performance” as Trump claimed in his meeting, with MSNCB (whom let’s remember he called “fake news” until he knew that none of us will bother with his “alt” news media for the coverage he wanted).

    1. stcroixcarp May 12, 2017

Eleanor, now you are really scaring me!

      1. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

I am right there with you. I have never been this scared since Krushchev threatened to take out the entire US and we had to practice air raid drills back in the mid 1950s.

This episode yesterday, if no other, is the reason Trump has to go. His staff of imbeciles simply lack the responsibility to know what is a serious breach of national security for the rest of the country.

With Trump constantly kissing up to Russians, he already is lying and saying he didn’t know the photogs were from Russian media. He’s full of it. Then why ban US media?

        1. You are still under the influence of that silly cold war propaganda which allowed the Military Industrial Complex to make millions of dollars profits with lobotomized American Citizen’s Money scared by stupid bomb drills!

Hope you got your cut then and NOW. Same gimmick.

      2. Shiver Mate, shiver!

    2. Gilbert West May 12, 2017

Of course they used the opportunity to bug the WH… Why wouldn’t they? They have to keep tabs on their investment… I’m surprised that Trump didn’t blame his stupidity on Obama as well!!!

  11. Rose Simmons May 12, 2017

I agree with you. As soon as I heard the Russians were invited to our White House again after what they did, while the investigation is in progress and right after the Comey firing. It’s like he and the Russians are spitting in our faces.
Trump has proven he is dangerous. He can not and/or will not control himself in any way, not matter what, even to save himself. He is a self destructive person. It’s scary that Trump has our country and the world in his hands. This is the kind ok power he is seeking.

    1. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

Before I retired I was an accounting manager and tech writer. 2 of the companies were international. Back in the late 1990s, our foreign customers often needed to deposit their currency into a foreign exchange bank so we could accept their letters of credit to pay for their shipments of our products. One was the Korean Bank and the other Trump’s favorite money laundering bank: Deutschebank.

If Trump is an expert at anything, it is money laundering. That’s the real reason he invested in casinos. Casinos are the easiest businesses to launder money. It’s also the reason he got that FinCEN $25 million fine for money laundering at the Taj Mahal.

It is totally plausible that Trump used a forex bank in the states to hide the money he borrowed from Putin.

  12. Eleanore Whitaker May 12, 2017

No matter what else the right wing and Republicans tries to do to stop investigations, it comes down to: How was the election rigged and what will happen to future elections?

Our Constitution demands our freedom to vote without foreign interference. So no matter how much the Republicans and right wingers try to lie, distort and deceive, the 2016 election was inflitrated by Russian hackers of RT, Goosifer and Goosifer2, all of whom are paid by Putin.

    1. You (and the rest of the world) have not had freedom for 200 years and no constitution for 16 years.
      Why Now?

      1. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 14, 2017

Alain, you’ve convinced us that you’re a mental midget time and again. We understand your plight, and so there’s no need for you to broadcast your nihilism, nor impress on us your perpetual devotion to your ego.

Alain: Do you believe in God? This isn’t a trick question—The answer should be 1) YES; 2) NO; 3) I DON’t KNOW, and given your derangement, the optional 4th answer would be–“I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION”.

Now, Alain—If you answered “NO”, that would surely explain the hollowness of your soul, and your bleak outlook on life. If you answered “YES”, then maybe we need to drill down a bit and find out if “god” for you is the drunk in the alley; if you choose #3, then this would explain your fuzziness and incoherent nature; or, if you chose #4, then I recommend you return to high school, or take adult classes at night.

Good day, Alain, and wish your mother a Happy Mother’s Day, or at least remember her in your prayers.

        1. You are the drunk in my alley, annoying & smelly too!

I know a dog but who is god?

I am not a believer but a knower. PhD.

How can you believe in something you cannot understand or describe in any intelligible way? Stupid waste of time.

You are just the poorly educated meager you, Aaron.

YOU do not represent US in the slightest way.

So stay put and pray to your allah avatar god.
He’s got work to do with you.

Frankly! Nobody gives a damn, troll…
Who do you think you are anyway?

My mother would tell you to shovel off…

          She was A high-class woman…

          1. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 15, 2017

Your mother, and your father, did an incredibly poor job in raising you. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be the churlish and boorish little man who never grew up; you would have learned to show respect for God, for Religion, and would have learned by now the necessity of being intelligent, courteous, and respectful.

Alas, you represent the essence of darkness, consumed by an inordinate nihilism, and show no signs of improvement.
Is this the way you show your disdain for your mother, father, and your ancestors???

Knowing you, none of this will have an impact because the bleakness of your personality has built a wall around your soul, which is still shriveling up as noticed in your idle and futile protestations.

            Good day, Alain.

          2. Get lost priest of NO good. How sucker can you get?

          3. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 15, 2017

Alain, you’re irrational and unable to think clearly. “How sucker can you get?” ?
Do you understand language usage, Mr. PhD? If you can’t display any signs of any morality and sanity, and if your parents abandoned you so that you would be as infatuated with yourself the way Trump and all delusional patients are, then you should refrain from posting.
So far, you’ve shown no signs of clear thinking, and your posts suggest the mental state of a wino and being an infantile adolescent—not unlike Trump.

          4. I am NOT posting (waste of time considering the intellects present here!
I am answering a pontificating “muslim” idiot who things he can impose his silly religious ways on people.
He asks for more and I indulge just for the heck of it!
            Easy stuff.
He treats me like a badly grown child (insulting my Mo and Pa in the process) and I make fun of his godly gibberish.
            It can last a while.

          5. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 16, 2017

Alain, that was a pathetic diatribe that only served to highlight your infatuation with yourself. The pompous nature that defines you comes out loud and clear.

What sort of nonsense is this: “I am the original Eulenspiegel”?

How dreadful and lamentable to find a human being so self-absorbed with himself as you—you’ve distorted your personality to the point that your own mother wouldn’t recognize you. You’re disporting yourself like a pompous jay in front of your Creator, showing no sense of fear of what may await you in the next life.

Alain, I wrote the following in response to Trump’s lack of humility, contrition, and due to his arrogant and haughty demeanor. It applies to you as well.

Trump continues to set fire to himself with each passing day. This manic behavior was long ago evident by those of us who pay attention to the way a person speaks, and who take note of a person’s body language.

Ever since Trump became a public figure decades ago, the signs of impending doom were evident, but many of us discounted Trump as a raving lunatic in the private sector whose derangement would never be allowed to manipulate the levers of government at the highest level. But we underestimated the silent devastation being inflicted on the minds of millions, by conservative ideology in its most extreme form being daily broadcasted by the likes of FOX, and other crackpot media outlets and individuals.

Our close-up of Donald on a microscopic level was provided once the Primaries began; the constant preening, boasting, bleating, and strutting about like a gaudy and raucous blue jay made it clear this was a man who needed to be locked away in an asylum.

One critical aspect that stood out for me during all of Donald’s histrionics was the utter lack of self-control, no moral restraints whatsoever, no fear of God or dread of offending Him as shown on a daily basis. All of which pointed out the lack of a very important and key ingredient necessary for any human being to cultivate and project a sense of dignity and nobility—that quality is ‘Humility”. And this virtue can only be made a part of any human’s personal make-up by virtue of being constantly informed on a daily basis by way of Religion. Humility isn’t something that develops and expands on its own, but needs to be inculcated by way of constant exposure to religious influences. This usually starts with the parents, then by way of the mosque, synagogue, church, ashram, sweat lodge, or by engaging daily in reciting in the morning and the evening the verses and prayers revealed by Baha’u’llah and His predecessor, The Bab.

When an official cited Donald’s precarious position in light of disclosure of information to Russian officials, he stated what I thought highlighted Donald’s sad predicament: “He is very inexperienced, this is an absolutely new world to him,” Hayden said. “If I fault him for anything, it’s not that he’s inexperienced — he doesn’t have humility in the face of his inexperience.”

That phrase alone(“he doesn’t have the humility in the face of his experience”) succinctly describes the root of Trump’s diseased condition. Furthermore, it brings out something Baha’u’llah wrote in describing the human experience, when He said that shame was a quality that restricts us from committing that which is injurious, and that is our sense of shame, and He went on to say that not all possess this quality. Shame connotes a quality of thinking and acting which is linked to humility. And Trump long ago lost that sensibility. If one can’t project a sense of shame and humility, then it’s impossible to be humble before God—(“Are you paying attention, Alain?”).

There is self-effacement which is born of a sense of humility, and then there is “humiliation”, the outcome of having committed a shameful act and feeling remorse afterwards, or being informed of one’s shameful behavior and feeling chastened.

Trump(and Alain) is incapable of feeling remorse, nor can he feel the need to say he’s sorry.

          6. Same old sermon!

Some arrogant pompous fool proposed this to some lost humans like you 10 cents pontif.

You shall have no other gods before Me.
            You shall not make idols.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

How about that for humility, dude!?
I suppose your Bab is member of that exquisite club of humble losers asking for exclusivity.

And eventually these to follow up!

Honor your father and your mother.
            You shall not murder.
            You shall not commit adultery.
            You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet (you know who!?)

They are such bastard jokes those deities you bow to…

You do not know what makes man or woman work.

Your voted for Trump puppet is not my problem…

The fact that he annoys you, the most boring barnacle of the Universe is a plus joke and joker.

Sorry for what Bab Baby? Eat your heart out!

Pray a little now. It does not seem to work very well!

          7. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 16, 2017

Alain, your parents are to be reprimanded for having neglected to teach you proper manners and instill in you a sense of dignity and humility. Because of their neglect, I provide you with the following to fill that void.
These citations echo the same themes mentioned by the Prophets of God from the past—your past and mine. Do take the time to read the following and reflect on them.

After all—“The sign of the intellect is contemplation, and the sign of contemplation is silence”.

“O SON OF MAN! Humble thyself before Me, that I may graciously visit thee. Arise for the triumph of My cause, that while yet on earth thou mayest obtain the victory.”

And from the 3rd “leaf” in the Tablet “Kalimat-i-Firdawsiyyih”(Words of Paradise), there is the following:

“O son of man! If thine eyes be turned towards mercy, forsake the things that profit thee and cleave unto that which will profit mankind. And if thine eyes be turned towards justice, choose thou for thy neighbour that which thou choosest for thyself. Humility exalteth man to the heaven of glory and power, whilst pride abaseth him to the depths of wretchedness and degradation.”

As you’ll recall, these same admonitions were recited, albeit in a different manner, by the various Messengers of God in the past.

          8. Haaaa shut up Aaron, you are boring again.
Or my mother will come back to kick thy pedantic ass.

          9. I told YA to get out of my Hair you harassing religious bigot or I’ll have whole hell let lose on you and the FULL US Supreme court for good measure!
Don’t the folks know you are such a nuisance here allah troll.
Although you are already punished enough as it is.
Your silly god is on fire or what?

          10. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 17, 2017

Alain, your bile is a sign of a profound disrespect for your mother. It also describes a man who has lost all sense of dignity—the very dregs of humanity. You once posted that she was a good woman, but you insist by your posts in portraying her as being of questionable character.
Is that how you want to project the woman from whose loins you sprung? Do you wish to continue posting imbecilic prattle to further humiliate her memory?
I believe your mother was an honorable person, but her son has decided to dishonor her with his childish and maniacal posts. How much longer do you intend to keep up this trend?

          11. What me guilty? What me worry?

Haaaa the “GUILT” the most cherished tool of religious charlatans trying to corner their imbecile victims.

OK Aaron ! I will not answer your bullshit anymore!
I have enough material to show folks how delusive crooks like you operate.
Too bad the attendance here is so shallow and intellectually inexistant!
But they know you by now.

            To the Loo…

          12. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 15, 2017

A knower, PhD? What sort of garbage is that, Alain? Just because you say you’re a thinker, and type “PhD.” on your keyboard doesn’t make you equal to such pretentiousness on your part.
As for the drunk in the alley, your drunkeness wafts across the internet by virtue of your infantile posts. A PhD—Indeed!
You can’t even express a logical and cogent opinion—Any of the 3 Stooges possessed more intellect than you. Is your degree granted by the Department of Idiocy? Knowledge as an attribute of God bewails its plight if any school was dimwitted enough to grant a simpleton such as yourself a PhD.

Get yourself a real education, Alain, and stop being such an immature and childish brat.

  13. Beethoven May 12, 2017

In the end, the Russian collusion in rigging the 2016 election may be a minor detail in what could turn out to be as big a mess as Watergate, Al Capone, and the Teapot Dome scandal all rolled into one. If a few powerful state attorneys general, and some determined reporters like Woodward and Bernstein, dig deep enough, we could see Trump and dozens of his associates going to prison for criminal racketeering and tax evasion.

    1. Everythiiiin’ is rolled UP into one in tha’ Good Ole USA.
Bacon, Education, Obesity sex and smart Aleck speculation.
Everything has been rigged for as long as I remember!
Including Freedom, Democracy and the Constitution!
So said Bakounine in 1870 in Paris where he met Karl Marx and his cousin Lionel Rothschild. No, not Ritchie! Richie!

Trump twittered a threat directed to Comey this morning stating – James Comey better hope there was no “tapes” of our conversation before he starts leaking to the press! In anyone’s opinion that is an open threat in writing.

    1. InformedVoter May 12, 2017

Sorry Rose, but you are incorrect in your comment. This is what the FAKE MSM hope you’ll believe. It’s not Comey who has tapes, but it’s President Trump who has tapes of their dinners! President Trump just gave Comey a quick heads up that before he decides to do a “tell all” interview, he may want to think twice about what he says as President Trump will have the tapes of their conversations.
Of course low information sheep like you think it’s Comey who may have hidden tapes. So, NO it’s not an open threat of any kind.

      1. jamcrky May 13, 2017

Did you actually read Rose’s comments? She was very clear as to her statement, a statement you completely misread…..Informed voter??? I questioned that handle.

        1. InformedVoter May 13, 2017

Yup, I read Rose’s dumb comments. She flat out accused President Trump of threatening Comey. However, the truth is that President Trump did NOT threaten (as I corrected her statement) and indicated that President Trump was giving Comey a heads up. You completely didn’t understand my reply.

          1. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 14, 2017

You don’t understand your own reply, uninformed one. Your ignorance of how a human being is supposed to conduct himself hasn’t abated I see. And your godless amorality is as sickening as ever.
When will you desist from worshiping yourself and your golden calf named Donald Trump?

          2. InformedVoter May 14, 2017

Sorry AofP, but your hypocrisy condemns you. You feel it’s perfectly OK to call President Trump dirty names, without proof except for your personal prejudices. And you think it’s OK to call anyone who does not agree with your thinking distasteful names. But if President Trump fights back or we dare to turn the table on you and your ilk, suddenly we’re horrible people.
You speak of worship, well that’s what you low information sheep do with obozo. Try looking at how the foreign press treats his – spoiler alert – they slammed him pretty hard. Most cartoons depicted his face and a jackass (no not a donkey)- gee, how fitting.

          3. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 14, 2017

Proof? An imbecile could see that Trump is hopelessly deranged. Your protestation doesn’t make it all well for Trump.
I must say that your servile devotion to Trump is both disturbing and amusing. Since you refuse to acknowledge the obvious, and demand proof of Trump’s depravity,, I conclude that you are blinded by a depraved mind, similar to Donald’s depravity.

          4. InformedVoter May 15, 2017

You see President Trump as “hopelessly deranged”. We view obozo as a muslim, hell bent on destroying America. We were fortunate to survive obozo’s 8 years of race relations going south; the economy the worst 8 years in generations; our military stripped of its honor and might; flaunting the Constitution to achieve his desires … the list is endless.
Fortunately, the voters saw that HilLIARy would be just a continuation of obozo’s failed policies0.
More than any factor, that is the real reason that the voters rejected such a flawed candidate as HilLIARy and flocked to President Trump to restore the country’s greatness. The slogan “make America great again” resonated with those who truly love the country.
We just can’t understand how you can be so low information to follow the FAKE MSM agenda. The Dems have no policies, they are following the FAKE MSM (driven by Soros). And you just join in like mindless sheep.

          5. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 15, 2017

It’s extremely important that we have you post your drivel as part of your duty to defend a groper of women.
Your posts are important to show to the public the contrast between the darkness of an amoral and moribund mentality which you represent most vividly, and the light which I strive to interject along with that of others.
As Baha’u’llah in many passages of His Writings shows, it is important that humanity have “Evil” shown in order to appreciate the values of angelic qualities; it is important to show the devastation inflicted on a mind devoid of intellect and lacking spiritual qualities which you present, when juxtaposed next to the principles expressed by me and others which emanate from spiritual sources.

So, keep on posting, uninformed one.

          6. InformedVoter May 15, 2017

Gee, there you go again with your lies about President Trump. Funny I never hear you comment about Bill Clinton being a rapist! Or I never hear you comment about obozo being a wife beater or child molester (he’s a muslim and those are staples of their religious beliefs). Yet you continue to display your ignorance and slander President Trump with unproven statements.
We view your posts as to demonstrating how stupid liberals have become. You used to claim you were on the high ground, but that hypocrisy has been exposed.
So, I shall continue to post the truth even if its offends

          7. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 15, 2017

Your obsessive adoration for Trump is not going to save him, nor will it cure his derangement. You may rant and foam at the mouth until the cows come home, but those of us possessed of sound mind will continue to discount the ravings of a FOX-intoxicated addict like yourself.
Since you don’t understand what a Muslim is, there’s no need to go into that at length with someone who enjoys being ignorant on the topic. Nor would it be advisable for anyone to try and teach you the finer aspects of Religion, the meaning of being a Christian, and how that is seamlessly connected with being Jewish, a Muslim, a Buddhists, etc.
The meaning of Religion is totally alien to you, uninformed one. But you’ll no doubt insist on displaying a fondness for being ignorant and clueless on the true meaning of Religion.

      2. Rose Simmons May 13, 2017

Trump tweeted a threat directed to Comey this morning stating – James Comey better hope there was no “tapes” of our conversation before he starts leaking to the press! Trumps words exactly as typed.
That was my comment, typed verbatim as Trump wrote it. Where did you get fro that the idea that I stated Comey had tapes on Trump??? I took my information directly from Trump own tweet which has been posted all over on every news station.

        1. InformedVoter May 14, 2017

Sorry Rose, but you just repeated your incorrect statement! You once more said that President Trump TWEETED A THREAT and that is not true The FAKE MSM would like you to think that and obviously you’re one of the low information crowd to believe them. President Trump was giving Comey a “heads up” that before Comey starts to “sell” his story to the press that he’d best make sure that he won’t be exposed as a liar.
I guess it’s no surprise you low information sheep get sucked into the FAKE MSM web of lies. I know you believed their fake polls that showed that HilLIARy was leading and would win possibly in a landslide. I kept posting links that showed that President Trump was the one in the lead, but no, you sheep kept referring to the FAKE MSM crap! How did that work out for you?

      3. Aaron_of_Portsmouth May 15, 2017

Sorry, uninformed one, but Rose has better insights, and clearly is more intelligent than you’ll ever be.
Let me reiterate that your drivel is necessary to show the contrast between an informed and angelic-like disposition posed by Rose for example, and the dark and demonic forces which drive you to post nonsense on behalf of your lover, Donald Trump. Trump’s unrequited love is driving you insane.

        1. InformedVoter May 15, 2017

Once more you are wrong, just as Rose is. She says that President Trump threatened Comey, but that is not true. He clearly made a statement about the conversations having been recorded. In no way, could that be viewed as a threat.

Oh I forgot, you failed English as a second language and are obviously having a hard time understanding the written words of our President.

      4. Rose Simmons May 15, 2017

        1. InformedVoter May 15, 2017

Sorry Rose, but you have totally misunderstood what President Trump tweeted. What President Trump tweeted is NOT a threat. Only someone who has difficulty understanding English would think it was a threat.
So once more you have demonstrated that you have difficulty understanding written statements. You certainly fit the description of the typical liberal person: low information and ill prepared to function effectively in society.
