Donald Trump has achieved a great milestone for all presidential candidates: He’s made vulgarity on the campaign trail mainstream.
At a rally Monday night in New Hampshire — on the eve of the state’s primary — The Donald went on a tear against Ted Cruz, when a female audience member yelled out a very choice obscenity against the Texas senator.
“She just said a terrible thing. You know what she said?” Trump said, in mock outrage — before he then asked the woman to say it again! “Shout it out, ’cause I don’t’ want to say.”
As she yelled it out, the whole crowd cheered. Trump smiled, and then kept on going with this fun little development.
“Heh, okay, you’re not allowed to say — and I never expect to hear that from you again. She said — and I never expect to hear that from you again!” he scolded. “She said he’s a pussy. That’s terrible, terrible!”
As the crowd kept cheering, The Donald continued.
“What kind of people do I have here? Okay, what do I have?” He then recounted the tale of a past campaign event, where the press raked him for an audience member who said President Obama was a secret Muslim.
“So you remember when not so long ago, not so far from here, I had a group of people, we were doing question and answer. And somebody came up with a pretty tough statement about Obama — and the press got pretty angry, because I didn’t defend the president. Remember? I took a lot of heat, and I didn’t reprimand the person that said it.
“So I want to just tell you right now, Ma’am, you’re reprimanded, okay? Can she stay?! Can she stay?” he rhetorically asked, as the crowd roared with approval. “You’re reprimanded. So, for the press, this is a serious reprimand, just so the press knows.”
And just think: He’s very likely going to win the New Hampshire primary tonight. Then it’s on to South Carolina!

Good point but Trump is not president. If he should become pres you will long for the good old days of Nixon who at least had a grasp of foreign affairs.

I’m only comparing Nixon to Trump. As bad as he was and he was a sleazy POS Trump will be far worse because he is clueless on foreign affairs. Putin will play him like toy drum.

Clinton may have been as sleazy as Trump but he didn’t play to the idiot crowd for $hits & giggles the way trump does. I can be pretty crude in my sense of humor so i wouldn’t mind if he was funny but he very rarely is the least bit humorous though I sometimes laugh at how stupid the yahoos in the crowd are.
Clinton wasn’t sleazy, he was actually charming on stage and in speeches. Everyone knew he was a cheater with the ladies, just like JFK was (and most of the Repubican congress at the time was) before we elected him. We desperately needed an excellent economist to save the economy … 1st time I ever voted Democrat.
Bill Clinton is nothing like Trump. Trump is sewage.

Everything about Trump takes VULGARITY TO NEW HEIGHTS OF THE OBSCENE!!! He proves daily money cannot buy you class or good manners, let alone decency or GENUINE intellect, or as he and his minions like to say “politically correct” which is a new euphemism for rude, obnoxious, racist, a colossal liar and defining good taste down to having NO taste AT ALL!!!
Donald Trump will defeat Bernie Sanders big time in a general election. Think about that. Think about having either of those goofballs representing us on the world stage.
As someone looking in from out in the non-American world, Sanders is the only rational choice.
It seems like “rational” and “American” haven’t been going together for quite some time. Someone should make up a list of good countries to move to.
“The Donald” is a 5 year old with thin skin and bad hair.
If he wins, and it’s a big if, I expect the following results:
1) America will become an even larger laughingstock in the international community than you already are with your devolving values, desperate interest in controlling womens’ vaginas, assault on LGBT people etc etc.
2) The continuing slide of the USA in every metric of civilised society to far lower than it already is.
3) Final hollowing out of the middle class leaving the top maybe 5% and a poverty stricken, unhealthy, uneducated mass of poor people.
4) The threat to use, then the use of, a tactical nuclear warhead by the US when thin-skinned Trump finally realises that no-one really respects him… because he’s a demagogue and a fool.
5) 3 new heavily conservative Supreme Court justices that, in the vein of Scalia and Roberts, ignore reality and logic and cherry pick ridiculous lines of argument on flimsy grounds to usher in their pet ideology and hasten the rise of unchecked capitalism (except where it pays off for the corporations). “Racism is over”… “There is no corruption in politics”… etc etc.
6) More “Short, Glorious, Wars” that will supposedly be a net positive for America, but really end up costing trillions of taxpayer dollars, and only benefiting the military-industrial complex.
… and probably some other stuff.
But that seems like enough.
Basically you guys are hosed if he gets in.
No argument there! However, be mindful that the your southern border is no protection from many of the ills we suffer in the U.S., so you guys better be prepared, too!
