Jeb Defends George W. — And Slams Trump For Foreign Policy ‘Bluster’

Share

Jeb Bush is going into friendly territory to mount a rebuttal against Donald Trump, writing a guest post for National Review that responds to Trump’s recent pummeling of former President George W. Bush.

“In the latest episode of the reality show that is Donald Trump’s campaign, he has blamed my brother for the 9/11 terrorist attacks on our nation,” Jeb writes. “That Trump echoes the attacks of Michael Moore and the fringe Left against my brother is yet another example of his dangerous views on national-security issues.”

Jeb then goes on to challenge Trump’s foreign policy positions on multiple fronts — ranging from his past praise for Hillary Clinton, his support for allying with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad, and his opposition to the war in Afghanistan — to make the overall point that Trump has no idea about foreign policy at all. Bush continued:

Let’s be clear: Donald Trump simply doesn’t know what he’s talking about. And his bluster overcompensates for a shocking lack of knowledge on the complex national-security challenges that will confront the next president of the United States.

Question: Was there anyone else who ran for president, and might have used bluster in order to compensate for his shocking lack of knowledge on national security?

Maybe this is an area of inquiry into which Jeb might not want to venture.

Bush kept us safe by starting bogus wars based on faulty trumped up intel, killing thousands of America’s best and brightest and disfiguring tens of thousands of others, while he destabilized an entire region by SEEMING INTENT. (Cheney said they would greet us with chocolates, Rumsfeld said they would greet us as liberators, and Iraq oil would pay for our several TRILLION dollar fiasco.)

I reckon he also kept us safe while he collapsed the US economy into near default, millions lost their homes and their jobs, and tossed us into the greatest recession in the nation in our life times.

Thanks for keeping us safe G. Bush, Hack of a job Brownie….

I’m sorry, but I almost started laughing as I was reading one total dummy who doesn’t know what he’s talking about on foreign policy claiming that another total dummy doesn’t know what he’s talking about on foreign policy. It would really all be laughable if the two dummies weren’t campaigning to be president of the U.S. And considering that these two dummies are actually candidates looking to be president; and that there are more than 10 other Clown Show GOP candidates who know even less than these guys- what should be laughable is really very tragic.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron.”

Jeb’s only way out of this…and it’s way too late…would be for him to act like a real man and not his moron brother’s kissass…and just come forward and say, “Yes, I admit it. My brother’s an idiot, he lied America into an illegal war, ignored warnings that bin Laden was preparing to use commercial airliners as missiles, was asleep at the switch during Katrina, and basically wasn’t smart enough to empty the president’s wastebasket, much less occupy the oval office. If Jeb! had the balls to say that I’d vote for him.
