Watch: John Oliver Blasts Trump’s ‘Damaged, Sociopathic’ Comments On The Khan Family

John Oliver comments on Donald Trump's attacks on the Khan family on the July 31 episode of "Last Week Tonight."

Calling Donald Trump a “self-serving half-man,” John Oliver slammed the Republican nominee for his comments regarding Khizr and Ghazala Khan, the Muslim military parents who appeared during the final night of the Democratic convention.

Sunday’s episode of Last Week Tonight Oliver juxtaposed a clip from Khizr Khan’s speech with a recent Trump interview, in which The Donald suggested that the Khans’ loss of their army captain son was akin to his efforts building skyscrapers.

“We may be on the brink of electing such a damaged, sociopathic narcissist that the simple presidential duty of comforting the families of fallen soldiers may actually be beyond his capabilities,” Oliver said of Trump.

The GOP candidate has been drawing serious criticism after an interview with George Stephanopoulos this weekend (included in Oliver’s show), during which he suggested that Ghazala Khan was not allowed to speak because of her religion.

That particular comment led Oliver to wonder if Trump would even be able to comfort the families of fallen soldiers—even though the late-night host “genuinely did not think that was part of the job that someone could be bad at.”

So John Oliver, a comedian, who has never amounted to being much of a comedian, while searching for something to try and save his never has been career, made meaningless comments about Trump. For the 3 people who were watching, why should anyone with intelligence care what Mr. Oliver said?

Don’t be like Otto’s visual, oh mighty informed voter.

The most disturbing part of this is the misrepresentation by the media being paid off by the Clinton whores. Why are these parents more important than the American born parents who lost their sons at the embassy? THey were lied to by Clinton; one of them is still waiting for a phone call, which will never come! So sad. This is truly a battle ogf good vs evil! Voting for Trump!

Perhaps because John Oliver is honest as well as fair and balanced. Donald seems to have been right about one thing though—–the uneducated people love him.

John Oliver “fair and balanced”? What have you been drinking?
Khan is a terrorist! After you read the following, if you have an ounce of brains, it should be obvious, even to a low information person like you.

        1. Jon August 3, 2016

LOL…You believe the garbage by a discredited liar and pretend that it is the truth. What color is the sky in your world?

          1. InformedVoter August 4, 2016

Is your middle name “naive”? It would go well with your nick name of low information person. You believe the garbage and lies that Clinton and Obama have been dishing for years, even though there are tons of proof.
It’s ironic that you would claim the source is discredited and not use the same description for Hillary. But since you are one of the three people who actually watch that discredited comedian Oliver, what other world would you be in.

I don’t think there’s an ounce of compassion in this man’s entire body! To even consider having him there to comfort families of fallen soldiers would be a disaster! He would end up making it all about him and not about the soldiers or their families!!

There’s no such thing as “…Donald may be able to change”.
Donald has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has a “black” heart, and any silly notion that “maybe he will change” is just whistling Dixie.
The GOP is stuck with the grandest mistake ever made in US history. Otto the Goat’s silly visual of Trump’s rear-end is symbolic of how the world perceives Drumpf and the GOP.

Only Trump’s loyal followers remain in the dark, blind as bats, and behaving like the hippopotamus that titillates Otto to no end. (That’s Otto’s only way of getting excited).
