CNN: Officials Have Evidence That Trump Associates ‘Coordinated With Russians’

Republican

On Wednesday, CNN reported what many of us who closely follow the Russian hacking scandal have expected for months: The FBI has evidence of contacts between unnamed “associates of Donald Trump” and “suspected Russian operatives” during last year’s presidential election — and possibly coordinated with Russians to attack the Clinton campaign and the Democratic Party.

Coming two days after FBI director James Comey confirmed that his agency has been investigating the Trump campaign’s connections with Russian interference in the election since July 2016, the CNN report is stunning but not surprising. It also follows an Associated Press report on Tuesday that Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chair, had secretly devised a plan as early as 2005 to “greatly aid” the Putin regime by influencing the U .S. government and media. (Evidence that he pursued precisely such a campaign can be found in this 2008 Nation article by Mark Ames and Ari Berman, detailing efforts by Manafort and his partner Rick Davis to promote pro-Russian positions and policies with Arizona Senator and 2008 presidential candidate John McCain.)

The White House defense against these corrosive revelations would be comical if the dangers of this situation were not so grave. On Tuesday, press secretary Sean Spicer tried to suggest that Manafort, who ran Trump’s campaign for five months, had “played a very limited role for a very limited time.” Such an absurd defense is a sign of a fearful attempt to conceal the truth. As Carl Bernstein observed on CNN, the Trump administration is actively engaged in a cover-up.

That cover-up is failing, as evidenced by the resignation of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and the humiliating recusal of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The alarms have been sounding ever since Americans learned that two top government officials had been caught lying about their contacts with a foreign power. Now we know that there is much more, and probably much worse.

Will we ever learn the full truth about the nexus of criminality and collusion that appears to link the Trump campaign, the Russian intelligence services, and their enablers? Evidently not, if we must rely on the House Intelligence Committee, whose clueless chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) ran to the White House on Wednesday with allegations about government surveillance that picked up some Trump transition members, possibly including Trump himself, while collecting data on a foreign target. In his partisan zeal, Nunes failed to inform his committee first — betraying them and compromising his own role irretrievably.

Somehow the United States must confront a political scandal of monumental proportions, an aggressive incursion by a foreign adversary, and a looming crisis of presidential legitimacy. That cannot be accomplished by an incompetent, small-time legislator like Nunes, and perhaps not by a tainted law enforcement official like Comey. At the very least, Americans should demand a special Congressional committee to complete this investigation — and perhaps a special prosecutor as well.

What Senor Nunes does not understand, or is ignoring, is that U.S. Intelligence agencies have been monitoring the activities of our foes for many decades, that is it their obligation or duty to do so, and that trying to blame our intelligence agencies when they catch Americans who colluded with our adversaries in their attempts to meddle in our elections and undermine our freedoms, make people like him complicit in what took place. The Americans caught in this mess are not innocent patriots. They are likely to be traitors.

Good point Dominick. What I think is: Pres. Obama shouldn’t remain silence in this issue. He has to come out and explain to people how intelligent people do their job, so that they get the real picture what happened during his era. Taking the path of “W” (being silence) as “W” did to him, this time doesn’t work at all. Pres. Obama has to put in mind that we are dealing with a mad president. The more Pres. Obama keeps quiet, the more they will find different ways to tarnish the good job he did and there are good chunk of his supporters who believe whatever Trump and his surrogate tell them.

Good idea. Hillary has said she is going to weigh in, too. Like Trump himself, it is likely that his base is enclosed in the Fox News bubble: not many of them are going to be swayed by catastrophe. But other Americans may be very inclined to listen to reason after a steady diet of Trump’s verbal excesses.

Trump can’t find his own way to the bathroom on his best day. The only thing he leads the world in is making DEALS. Every word out of his mouth is “DEAL.” Deal this, deal that. For Trump, government and the presidency is nothing more than a “deal.”

Did you read the great piece on how Donald Trump fits like a glove in the burgeoning billionaire enclave in Palm Beach, Florida, in Newsweek this week? He is a creature of nepotism and cronyism, probably because he has no moral compass and actually cannot distinguish right from wrong. “Deal” = anything good for him. A person without his expensive insulation could not get away with as much borderline and outright criminal activity as he has all of his life.

Trump is up to no good at Mar-a-Lago. He claIms it is his “private residence.” Really? Then why does he charge $200,000 for guests to stay there at his “resort” he claims is a “private residence?”

The reason is what it always is with Trump. This sneaky thug is carrying on business deals at Mar-a-Lago just like Melania is doing at Trump Tower in her “home based business.”

The only reason he canned the DC hotel was when it was pointed out that he was president and also owner of the hotel and would be earning a profit from the government as a government contractor/vendor if anyone in government booked a stay there. That’s a HUGE conflict of interest and illegal for any president.

Trump has never gotten it through his head that he won the election, let alone that he runs the entire country. You point to Trump’s tumbling approval rating. I think even those who nominally “approve” of the job he is doing are open to horror once they find out what he and his cronies are up to behind the scenes.

I have mixed feelings on this. Former Presidents, as well as incumbent Presidents, normally avoid criticizing their successors or predecessors. Trump, an unstable, narcissistic, man is an exception to that rule. President Obama has too much class to lower himself to Trump’s level. Having said that, I would not be surprised if at some point he has no choice but to step in to clear the air…and protect the Office of the Presidency, which has been undermined and damaged since The Donald won the EC vote.

Nunes was a patronage appointment of sorts, right? Since he was part of Trump’s campaign–or was he only part of the transition team, which is bad enough. He is so clearly out of his league–unless he is just playing dumb. Did Ryan calculate that appointing Nunes to please Trump would advance his (Ryan’s) agenda, a quid pro quo, Trump asking for one of his insiders to head the committee that might have to investigate him in return for Trump supporting Ryan’s approach to healthcare reform? If so, both made the kind of deal that looks good in the short term and falls apart spectacularly later on.

Nunes is charged with the duty of sabotage in the same way that Gowdy, Chaffetz and Cotton were. The fact remains that Gowdy held Hillary Clinton under an 11 hour interrogation when Gowdy KNEW the information he had came from the Russians. It was GOWDY who edited Hillary’s emails. Now, the question is, why did he have to edit them? Was it to hide that they came from the Russians?

That’s where he and the Republican Cover Up Boys are showing their stupidity. First of all, any suspicious foreign enemy WOULD be monitored as a matter of national security. However, when anyone dials a phone number from Trump Tower, it is already monitored by Trump. Everyone in the Metro Area knows that. The point is that Manafort was leasing a suite at Trump Tower and even though he is an American, phone calls to and from foreign enemies WOULD be monitored.

That BS Conway and Spicer, along with Nunes and Gowdy are trying to state is that Americans cannot be under surveilliance. Even when they are making deals with a known Russian enemy?

The tie between the Republican Party to the Russian hacking is clear. It is known now that an “I Love Bernie” site online was part of Russia’s attempt to strike at the heart of our election process. Now we can’t even trust Sanders or his supporters. Can it get any worse?

The Republican Party is guilty on several levels. They cannot claim “We didn’t know.” That one won’t fly since they used the hate attacks that were part of the right wing Russian propaganda to sabotage Hillary’s campaign. This wasn’t the usual petty campaign nonsense.

The Republicans grilled Hillary for 11 hours, interrogating her Roy Cohn McCarthy style and knew she was guilty of NOTHING. All they ever had was what the Russians fed them.

Then, there is their guilt at aiding and abetting the continuance of a savage form of election sabotage to make sure their candidate won, come hell or high water.

We cannot trust any Republican. We have no idea what their back room agenda is but we do know what it has caused: A false president from a fraudulent election.

The most amazing part of all this is that Trump feels vindicated by the fact that there is conclusive evidence of collusion between one of his associates and a foreign power, apparently, because the coordination was done from the Trump Tower! Personally, I could care less where the traitor made his calls from, whether it was the Trump Tower or Death Valley while riding a horse with no name. The bottom line is that a Trump associate, and very likely more members of the Trump campaign, helped the Russians carry out a cyber attack against the USA, and helped them implement a well coordinated disinformation campaign. The name for that is treason, and most people, including those with a semi-functioning brain, would not feel vindicated or find comfort in learning something like that. The way things are shaping up, impeachment may turn out to be the most benign part of what lies ahead.

Now, it is perfectly okay that a nobody who perceives herself as Coco Chanel and a top model all rolled into one has security clearance.

Is that because Daddy doesn’t like sleeping alone in the White House with all the ghosts of the former presidents haunting him? So now he needs Daughter dearest in his beddie at night to get a night’s rest? Or is that Daughtie Dearest plans to be his “other” pair of eyes and do the ratting on anyone Daddy Dearest presumes to be a “spy?”

Of course, neither has completely divested herself or himself of their business interests, so they each bring substantive conflicts of interest. Howdy dp – the provision in the constitution for this kind of fubar is the line of succession.
Under parlimentary government, if there is a vote of no confidence the governing party resigns, there is an election, and they carry on. In the late 1930’s in France the threat Germany posed caused much fear, and because no one could figure out what to do governments rose and fell at a furious pace, some lasted less than a day. When attacked, they crumbled, because no one had a clue, or if they did no one would listen to them.
We in America have the line of succession. Good news.
Bad news – the line is orange doodle, pence, then lyin Ryan.

Howdy dp – no one wants the doodle and his minions gone more than I do. But the precedent of tossing out the results of an election is one we don’t want to set. In all of the hysteria of 2009 a new election would have caused havoc, and the recovery never would have happened. We have never had a president who is such a complete failure as who we have now. In addition to his lack of ability, and the state of his alleged mind, we have the foreign influence. Our system of government is robust, and provisions are in place to fix this. We must use them. The majority party, a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch industries, is not listening to the people. They will do what Dave and chuck tell them to do. This is a new development in our history.
Democrats must present, now, a viable plan to fix the aca. It will not pass. But the people will see who is on their side, who is competent, and the election will reflect the realization of the people that they have been had.
Of course, the election will only be participated in by those who jump the barriers put in place by the Koch bros. the gerrymandered districts will protect many from the will of the people, and the propaganda arm of the kochs will be in over drive to skew the results in their favor.
An election now, or later, with the same dynamics as the last election, will not end in a result that helps the United States recover.
            Citizens United MUST be revoked.
Campaign finance rules MUST be put in place.
I understand that legislators are required by their party to spend a minimum of 30 hours a week in their call center raising money. That must stop.
People are not rioting in the streets with flaming pitchforks because it is believed that time and lawful processes will correct the problem.
If it is perceived that these processes have been compromised, Houston will not be able to fix that problem.
An investigation independent from political influence must investigate Donnie and his minions. A flawed investigation will be a nail in our government’s coffin that may prove fatal.

Howdy dp – a redo would set a bad precedent. In 2009, during all of the chaos, redoing the election would have meant no recovery plan. The repubs wanted the recession, so they could dump obligations like pensions. a redo would have given them what they wanted. Our government is robust, and procedures to recover from disaster are in place. If congress does their job, we will be okay. We must hold their feet to the fire to get them moving.

Vietnam was his attempt to effect nation building in Asia. Kennedy planned to leave, and was killed. Lots of corporations made money on that.
When Kennedy took office our military was a shadow of a ghost. We were unready for the conflict that we never should have been in.

That was the entire basis for allowing Trump in to the Republican Party. The GOP knew the minute he was the last candidate, they had the entire government and country in the palms of their hands. Is that Democracy?

Yesterday, when the UK had another terrorist attack, the current prime minister, Teresa May, said what Americans need to pay attention to. She stated that the UK is a democracy and the UK will not tolerate terrorists trying to weaken their government.

Yet, here in the US, we have allowed First Amendment Rights to weaken our government to run rampant thanks to the Republican Party.

I sincerely doubt if they’ll be able to pass the healthcare bill as it stands now. They have over 30 Republicans that have already said they aren’t going to vote for it….they only really need 21. Secondly, many of them didn’t take kindly to 45’s presumed “threat” that they would not be re-elected in 2018. At least ONE Republican senator advised that he doesn’t run at the behest of the president; he runs at the behest of his constituents and if he signs this ridiculous bill….it would be them (and ONLY them) who would vote him out of office! Unfortunately, 45 doesn’t understand that he can’t “fire” a senator or a congressman/woman….and he can’t threaten them because they are bought and paid for, we hope, by their constituents! His threats to them are baseless!

Millions are being spent to force a no vote so they can rewrite the bill and include more in the pain. They are beyond reason. The only cure for this is to get rid of the laws that enabled the citizens United fiasco to happen. Remove corporate and foreign money from elections and maybe, just maybe, we can regain control of our political process. These are the more conservative Republicans who are in the Koch’s pockets! Why do we allow the Koch Bros. to basically “bribe” our representatives to vote no on something that is good for their constituents! This is against all that these politicians took an oath NOT to do! It’s pretty darn sad, and I hope that the people in their individual states realize that the individuals that they elected to represent them in our government actually don’t give a damned about them and will only vote with the party and NOT with their constituents!

The “average” American adult reads at the eighth grade level or just below it which is also consistent with recommendations, guidelines, and norms of readability for medication directions, product information, and popular fiction. Today, American adults are being told that they have low (and declining) reading proficiency.

The reading skills of American adults are significantly lower than those of adults in most other developed countries, according to a new international survey. What’s more, over the last two decades Americans’ reading proficiency has declined across most age groups, and has only improved significantly for 65 year old adults.

The study of 160,000 people by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, which is composed of two dozen developed nations, found that U.S. adults had reading levels that were below average, and lagged far behind those of Japan (which scored at the top), several Scandinavian countries, Australia and Korea. Only test takers in Spain, Italy, Ireland and several other countries hit hard by harsh economic times scored lower than Americans in U.S.

That is evident. My field of study was technical writing. In our expository writing class, we were given an assignment. The assignment was to watch ads on television and read them in magazines and categorize them. I have forgotten all the categories. I remember the “jump on the bandwagon,” “Fear ads,” and “status ads.” The final question on the examination was: What age group do you think they are aimed at, for that is the age level of development that the majority of people think at? Almost all of us said 7th grade. With the advent of “milk mustaches” i would say it dropped to 4th grade. In the U.S. there has not been critical thinking taught for several generations. History is just touched on and civics has been discontinued. I don’t think the majority of U.S. citizens are smart or they could see what is being done to them.

One other point I did not mention. In your country people do not die because they cannot afford medical care. We have one drug, lovanox, that before ACA, used to cost the patient $1400 for 30 days supply. If a person’s doctor bill got so high they could not afford to pay it, they were put on a cash only visit. Their only option, if they got sick, was to tough it out or die. This is what our republican party wants to go back to.

Now, we can trust no right winger not to be a Goosifer Bot on social media. We can’t trust a liar pretender to the presidency, his AG bigot Sessions who already was under suspicious before he was appointed and now the EPA Chief appointed by Trump Pruitt is also under investigation.

Are we supposed to trust a nut like Trump to make unbiased decisions when he insists upon flooding himself with his family in the White House whom he relies on to also do business for Trump Organization?

We are in uncharted territory here Constitutionally. If we allow the right wing and Republicans to continue their path of government destruction, how long will it be before every Constitutional freedom goes down?

Okay. So from that we can assume no could possibly EVER trick Trump. No one. Not Putin, Manafort, Stone, Bannon or Lewandowsky.

The joke is that the one who could be his closet downfall is his own sons and son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

Anyone who has ever worked in corporate environments know those closets to the CEO are always most conditioned to his predilections. As such, it is easier for them to skew his “directions” to their subordinates and to also rely on a CEOs predictability, even one as unpredictable as Trump.

But then, you go back and remind him how Ryan tried to dissolve the very ethics committee that is charged with keeping top committee members and members of the House and Senate in line legally. Or you remind him that he has 3 times now tried to throw monkey wrenches into investigations either through major distractions or by using Ryan and Nunes to disrupt an ongoing investigation.

Is that isn’t a neon sign flashing, “guilty, guilty, guilty,” I can’t imagine what more they need.

How can you determine that he’s left-handed from reading a post?
And just because a black male is educated doesn’t exempt him from ever behaving like a “boy” or a step-n-fetchit. Take it from an African American male, and take it from me that you’re drowning in a sea of self-infatuation. Swim to the nearest shore, please.
By the way, can you provide the specific case where a so-called black man you perceive in your mind was referred to as “boy” by anyone you cited as “racist”. Trump and Bannon have done far worse than what you fantasize re: jmprint and dpaano.

When you do, I’ll be able to clear the fog from your groggy mind on the matter of the term “racist” that you imagine it to mean.

The best way to get rid of those back-in-the-boonies ideologues is to block them. When hitler came to power, the first thing he did was to eliminate the intelligentsia. The present t-party fascists were more patient and eliminated them by downgrading education.

As previously stated, Manafort will not even be charged. With the hard evidence that Nunes has about obozo ordering the spying on President Trump, it’s far more reasonable that obozo will have to get someone to claim they ordered the spying.
As to my crying a river, here’s a link you’re certain to love.

You believed her and others on HilLIARy’s victory just like you believe that Manafort will be charged. Anyway, since Manafort resigned as soon as conflict of interest was identified as being possible, he has nothing to do with President Trump.

So how many of obozo’s nominations got skewered?
Now that even the Dems are acknowledging that Russia had no influence on our elections. what are you low information lefties going to turn to?
The Dems will pay a big price in the 2018 elections when most folks will have their obozocare premiums rise by 25-30% and many others will only have one company to chose from. The GOP will just say “we tried to fix it, but the Dems said “NO”, that all was good with obozocare”. Don’t forget that the Dems have to defend almost twice as many seats in 2018 than the GOP does. With the UAW now supporting President Trump because of him personally saving thousands of UAW jobs, it’s going to be lights out for the Dems in 2018.

Once more you demonstrate your low information and understanding of the facts. Just about every news source bashes the GOP. GW thought he could win them over, but they just kept up their bashing. That is why is approval rating is in the 30s. On the other hand, the FAKE MSM continually tries to boost obozo’s actions. They even print FAKE approval ratings for him as being about 50. Fortunately, there are sources that eliminate the FAKE boosting and they show that obozo’s true approval to be in the low to mid 30s, just lower than GW. They also show that President Trump’s true rating to be close to 60.

And poor Comey is befuddled. He relied on his team (comprised mainly from Dem holdovers, to prove no spying was done. Well, just like HilLIARy screwed herself up by paying to have fake polls published, those obozo holdovers screwed themselves up. Now Comey will be removing them.

She didn’t want me on it any longer than possible, but 6 months if the basic time frame for blood clots. I didn’t seem to have any problems, but I sure bled like a stuck pig when I scratched myself, and I couldn’t give blood at the Red Cross because I could fill one of their bags in a matter of seconds!!! Anyway, it solved the problem; I’m no longer taking it; and no one told me to stay on it forever!

He’s nominated them to work in his government. Is it just coincidence that so many of these people have Russian connections? Or is it just possible that Trump has been given a list of Russua-related people to nominate to important positions? And what is the reason that Trump would go along with this list? Doesn’t he have his own list? Or could it be simply that Trump is burdened with closet skeletons that will eventually come to life to destroy him? Victor Yanukovich’s jet has been sited in more then 4 places that Trump was holding his rallies. Also I believe it was Oleg Deripask and Yanukovich was also stopped at the same locations that Ivanka and her husband vacationed in during the campaign. With the ex-girlfriend of Trump who was married to Murdoch, who owns FOX. WHY? The smoke leads somewhere, meanwhile Putin is putting out the fires by killing anyone that can finger him and Trump and his cabinet. Already nine people dead since the Dossier came out. Such an haughty attitude as yours is what drives the likes of Trump, the GOP, Putin, and many Europeans to be over-assertive.

“Russians are highly educated”—Is that generality based on some scientific survey conducted by yourself across the length and breadth of Russia?

For some strange and mysterious reason, you feel a need to exude an insufferable smugness judging from your post a smugness that particularly plagues so many members of those Modern Humans who found their way into Europe some 40,000 years ago. Why is that do you you suppose, and why men of your demographic background feel obliged so often to project yourselves in such a manner?

Please do us a favor and take your sense of self-importance elsewhere, won’t you?

“O SON OF DUST! Verily I say unto thee: Of all men the most negligent is he that disputeth idly and seeketh to advance himself over his brother. Say, O brethren! Let deeds, not words, be your adorning.”

Although this was expressed by Baha’u’llah, it is a distillation of similar Messages uttered by Prophets of past generations, prior to 1863. I commend it to you for study and reflection. My intent is not to advance myself over you, but to defend someone you felt an urge to put down. What a nice Christian(?) approach you chose.

Eleanor qualifies herself as “man hater”. She puts herself down using insults and menaces. Read her posts.

Pompous and arrogant is in the mind of the beholder.
I don’t do prophets and the like. Not an iota religious.
            Not interesting. Castrating.

I don’t like simple English so I use pertinent words.
I think Americans are badly misled and are thus dangerous because of the oversized military they have and the fear and war mongering propaganda it wields.

Yes Russians are educated and do not consider America nor Europe as enemies but as inhabitants of the earth who need peace and prosperity not WAR.
You refuse the dialog with them and treat anyone who does as traitors. It shows in this ridiculous “Kremlingate” crisis.
Note that I don’t give a hoot about your puppet presidents anyway.
You got what you voted for.
So… Put your MIC away and start acting like decent humans, not selfish paranoiac bullies.
            That’s all folks…
Pompous enough Sir Aaron of Portsmouth? Guffaw…

You flatter yourself if you think you’re a man. And that’s why Eleanore insults such so-called “men”. A real man doesn’t think and post as you, so I have to agree with her action of putting down a so-called man.
If you could somehow get over being childishly enamored with showing off your haughtiness, you may at last be qualified to call yourself a man. Until such time, you are just a facsimile.

And please, brush up on your manners—your parents were either extremely negligent, or you just decided to ignore what they taught you. And whatever you’re drinking, you should test the chemical contents.

Stop the silly preaching Portsmouth trying to culpabilise people.
Eleanor has more testosterone aggressiveness than any male I know.
She continuously bashes and insults (especially men) all the time trying to make a point with hardly any plausible content in her posts.

Seeming haughty to you’all is thus automatic.
Sorry about that but when you send me empty ad hominem posts what can I do? Heavens to Murgatroyd!

InformedVoter sort of summed up the putative relationship we spent on each other.
My manners are considered pristine and immaculate; all my friends agree to that and I feel very courteous in solidarity and sharing with the simple folks but not with the Tartufes…

I drink splendid Belgian Trappist Beer but never to get drunk which is vulgar and inappropriate.

Why do you infer some kind of lackadaisical behavior upon me? Your Christian martyr side expressing itself?
            Get rid of this load.
            And try happiness and légèreté!

You and the uninformed one may be bosom-buddies, but in democratic societies we don’t tell people to stop talking. This may be pro forma in your country, but it doesn’t work here.
Your adoration of yourself rivals Trump’s and your new pal, but you’re still too mechanical in your approach. You lack that soulful ingredient—you once had it, but the two of you squandered it to appease and feed your egos. This is an ever-present problem, worship of one’s ego, which plagues many Westerners like yourselves.
Your worship of Materialism is the new “religion” for you and him—both of you have difficulty relating to the rest of humanity.
Why? Because you’ve severed yourself from your Creator; you no longer have the ability to communicate with your inner being, and as a result you project an arrogant and stiff personae.

Baha’u’llah, in many areas in His Writings, warns humanity of the dangers of a materialist, self-centered approach, as you, Trump, the “InformedVoter”(don’t you just love his hubris in the name he chose for himself) have opted for.

You may decide that what Baha’u’llah says in this regard is “Fake”, but I’ll give you the chance to put yourself on record as to how you choose to respond to the following, or not to:

“O Moving Form of Dust! I Desire communion with thee, but thou wouldst put no trust in Me. The sword of the rebellion hath felled the tree of thy hope. At all times I am near unto thee, but thou art ever far from Me. Imperishable glory I have chosen for thee, yet boundless shame thou hast chosen for thyself. While there is yet time, return, and lose not thy chance” (from ‘The Hidden Words’)

PS–If you don’t like what I relate to you, or what anyone else has to say here, then why do you insist on remaining here? Do you wait and expect for someone to follow the same abysmal path you’ve chosen?

I know those are a lot of questions I’ve posed to you, so take them one at a time. I believe you’re capable. (The InformedVoter has proven himself incapable of meeting the challenge).

That is why when you put a moron like Trump next to Obama, you see, hear and smell the ooze off Trump of his corruption. These Ruskie Trolls know that. What they want is to hopefully indoctrinate, brainwash and generally weaken our ability to beat them to a pulp if they DARE try to attack our freedoms and democracy.

Decent, patriotic Americans who see and hear treason in our midst can and will resurrect firing squads for morons like these Russian trolls.

I have to agree. Since Putin decided the best way to weaken our government to make his government the No. 1 World Power, all manner of robotic trolling and fake posts have infiltrated our social media.

The odd thing I find about this is that when you dare to disagree, if these are robots and not actual humans, how do they comprehend that some of us are invincible to their infiltration and attempts to indoctrinate with their hater propaganda? I know that in the past, I’ve ended up with viruses and all manner of computer hacks whenever I’ve disagreed with one of these Russian hackers. So either they are robots with brains who can disseminate those of us who are invincible or they are humans who are expert hackers.

In either case, they are violating our First Amendment right to express our opinions freely and without interference from Putin.

My hope is that computer security will be such that these bone idle robots and human trolls will get bored with their lot and realize they are about as effective as gnat dung. rofl.

Sorry AofP, but your posts to me about poor Eleanore and her obvious penis envy, contained nothing but drivel from your fake religion. Why you would try to defend such a wretch as Elle is beyond me. Her hatred of men permeates throughout her posts.
And as usual, your posts are wordy and boring.

You would have to refer to your genitals problem. Don’t you have any higher thoughts than what hangs between your legs?
What is fake about any of what has been shared with you? Do you and Trump both share the same problems telling with telling fake from real? What is your criterion for a fake Religion, and what to you is a “Real” Religion? Please tell me, so that I might learn something new—that is, if you’re up to it.

You keep proving your low information status. There are several posters who have complained about Elle’s man-hating posts. The fact that you try to defend such a pathetic soul is beyond me.
So, are you claiming that we’re all wrong and that Elle is not demonstrated she is a man-hater and an enormous liar too. She has claimed 6 or 7 different biographies about her life, each one contradictory of the others. Thus, we can tell FAKE from REAL. Something you lefties have a problem with. You continue to believe the FAKE MSM and all that does is to make you lower informed.
On several occasions you challenged my religious beliefs and quoted from you religion of choice. I don’t accept your hate-filled religion and so I consider your religion FAKE.
Your quoting “passages” from your religion never aided in providing proof that your opinions were true. In fact, just the opposite result was achieved.

Caiaphas and Pontius Pilate had the same opinion of Jesus as you have of Baha’u’llah. Like them, you haven’t troubled yourself one iota to examine with an unbiased mind the nature of the Baha’i Faith, nor can you be troubled to closely examine the teachings of Baha’u’llah. Your stubborn resistance to accepting anything beyond your proscribed enclosure of knowledge, makes you unqualified to offer an objective opinion—even on what day of the week it is.
Like your friend, Alain, you’re locked in a cage of conceit and egomania, and as Caiaphas never recovered from having closed his mond to the Reality of Jesus Christ, you run the same risk of falling into a permanent state of disbelief, with devastating consequences in both this world and in the worlds to come. Is that a risk you’re willing to take???

To give you once again an opportunity to see the signpost in front of your inner being, reflect on this(I believe I shared this with you before):

“Beware, O believers in the Unity of God, lest ye be tempted to make any distinction between any of the Manifestations of His Cause, or to discriminate against the signs that have accompanied and proclaimed their Revelation. This indeed is the true meaning of Divine Unity, if ye be of them that apprehend and believe this truth. Be ye assured, moreover, that the works and acts of each and every one of these Manifestations of God, nay whatever pertaineth unto them, and whatsoever they may manifest in the future, are all ordained by God, and are a reflection of His Will and Purpose. Whoso maketh the slightest possible difference between their persons, their words, their messages, their acts and manners, hath indeed disbelieved in God, hath repudiated His signs, and betrayed the Cause of His Messengers.”

So, InformedVoter—you have the opportunity to ponder deeply and objectively this counsel and to choose appropriately. Or, you may dismiss it if you wish. But know this: When you’re asked why you chose to be beligerent in the face of such evidences, you wan’t be able to say that no one informed you. Caiaphas didn’t have this excuse as well upon his entrance into the next World.

Your FAKE religion has betrayed you many times in the past. It has clouded your reason and made you intolerant. You claim you believe in diversity, yet you curse those who do not parrot your nonsense.

The present U.S. Government reminds me of this scenario: There is a gang of marauders sweeping across the country raping and pillaging. Washington DC is worried about the government so they hire a bunch to protect the government. It turns out the group they hire is the gang of marauders. Then they appoint members of this treacherous gang to police each other.

As hard as it is to do, we must agree with Donald Trump that Vladimir Putin is the smartest leader in the world. While US Presidents have sacrificed tens of thousands of American lives and have wasted trillions of dollars to destroy governments around the world since WWII with little success, Putin has been able to destroy US government and break up NATO and EU without firing a single shot or any boots on the ground.

Give me a break. Putin hasn’t destroyed the US, NATO, or the EU, though he’s like to, no doubt. If Putin is so smart, why can’t he win without threatening anyone who opposes him, poisoning journalists who expose his crimes, tossing attorneys off the fourth floor of buildings, etc.? To me, his not having boots on the ground and his dirty tricks, always behind the scenes, are the methods of a coward and a bully. He can’t win the war of ideas legitimately so he resorts to threats and cheating and buying desperados off. In Putin we see a small mind in a small man.

That is the World’s most important problem.
Not talking about it will not make it go away.

A super power that dominates the world and tries like you to inverse the roles and pass as victims with false flags and fakes is potentially very dangerous.
I gave you intellectual, cultural and political arguments about this overwhelming toxicity.
Your bigot sermons and the insults and menaces I got back concern you, not me. It proves my point.
You are provoking conflicts all over the place with proxy wars and manipulations and you try to culpabilise your victims. Intolerable cynicism.
I do not give a damn about Moscow and your paranoïa simplex is totally laughable and ridiculous.

You are not very good at humour either. Bigots are like that.

Nothing will stop a fool gone mad.
That is the real threat you present to the world.
And the world has had enough of that.

Like you, I “denounce” (substitute for the correct idiom) Trump, his Russian oligarch cronies, and “the horse they came in on.” I’m appalled that someone like Steve Bannon has an advisory role in the White House. Until he was ejected, I never understood why Trump appointed a Putin apologist like Michael Flynn to the position of National Security Advisor. To me, Paul Manafort was always a giant question mark. I’ve written posts elaborating on Rex Tillerson and Wilbur Ross’s ties to Russia, which I find entirely inappropriate for persons heading their departments. Where we differ, is that I think the U.S. is poised to oust Trump and these Russian advocates. I think the US, NATO, and the EU have solid bonds that Russia and Putin can never sever. There has always been (and probably always will be) an alt-right fringe in Europe. Though more vocal, it is still a minority–a despised and easily discredited minority–in Western Europe. That’s why the weak and desperate Putin is so unhappy and will always be unhappy: the numbers, judgment of history, and public sentiment are against him.

Howdy Alain – if you follow history there is a definite trail of maneuvering behind the scenes. Each president has a task to perform, the rest is drivel. Ford had a job. He had to keep the seat warm until the vortex created by Nixon settled down. He is an unsung hero, in my mind, because he got through it and then moved on. Carter had a job. He had to restore faith in the office of president.he is a good man, and he got through it and then moved on. Reagan had a job. He had to get us moving again. He got us through it, and moved on. Bush had a job. His task was to deal with Saddam. He did it, he moved on. Clinton had a job. He had to put us in economic shape and did it by balancing the budget, business was booming. He moved on. Then, all hell broke loose, bush the2nd screwed up and created chaos in themideast, crashed the economy, and dam near cost us everything. Obama had a job. It was his task to recover from bush the 2nd. He did it, he moved on. Trump has no clue, he is working for the same bozos who had bush the2nd in their pocket. We may not ever recover.
I ignored the side issues and currents because they were incidental to their goal.
It is our job to get things back on track.
            End citizens United.

“nexus of criminality and collusion” wow. The drums have started. Next, Nunes step back and recuse himself.

You know what I find most amusing about the right wing today? They make up about 0.0001% of the population. Think about it. They only rose to any power at all on money they all prostituted themselves for from the Koch Brothers who created and formed the Tea Party in an effort to Kochize the government. Didn’t work. At all.

What’s funny is that somehow they got in far deeper than they should have with Putin. When all is said and done, they have now jeopardized their own lives. Either Putin will get “rid” of them for their knowledge of his infiltration of our government or else they will end up in Gitmo as US traitors. Either way, it shows what imbeciles right wingers all are.

These are not conservatives. These are money mad maniacs who seek autonomous control of others they will NEVER have. Watching them all go down is fun.
