Why The Uranium One ‘Scandal’ Is Still A Fraud

Uranium One

In mounting fear of special counsel Robert Mueller – who is now reported to be preparing indictments that will be unsealed before Thanksgiving – Republicans on Capitol Hill and in the White House, as well as their media echoes, are reviving the discredited “Russian uranium” accusations against the Clinton Foundation. The aim of this tale is to turn public attention away from the disturbing and well-documented connections between Donald Trump and the Kremlin by fabricating a conspiracy that enfolds the Clintons, the Obama administration, and perhaps even the FBI into allegations of collusion with the Russians.

The original charges against the Clinton Foundation, first promoted by a strange journalistic partnership between Steve Bannon and the New York Times, are old and stale. In an effort to refresh them, Republicans and right-wing media outlets allude to nameless secret sources who will offer damning testimony yet to be heard. But the inquisitors in Congress and elsewhere still confront an insurmountable problem that makes nonsense of their bribery theory: although Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State when the U.S. government approved Russian acquisition of some US uranium assets, neither she nor the Clinton Foundation exercised any control over that decision. She couldn’t have been bribed. She had nothing to sell.

The latest broadsides from the right on this topic demand more detailed examination. For the moment, however, let’s review how it all began.

I examined the origins of the trumped-up tale of Uranium One in my recent book Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton (Simon & Schuster 2016) — which will be published next month in a convenient paperback edition, with a new Afterword about the presidential election and its aftermath.

What follows is a relevant excerpt:

Few American authors would dare to imagine the publicity bonanza that the editors of the New York Times bestowed on Peter Schweizer’s Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich. During the weeks leading up to its publication in early May—and only days after Hillary announced her presidential candidacy—the Times published not one but two articles promoting and implicitly endorsing the book—which, as its title indicated, purported to expose the Clintons’ enrichment by foreign interests.

It was the kind of publicity that money literally could never buy.

On April 19, the paper led its politics section with a story by Amy Chozick that described Clinton Cash as “the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle still in its infancy.” The author’s background as a Republican partisan and former speechwriter for George W. Bush and Sarah Palin, wrote Chozick, would be used by Clinton supporters to discredit him as yet another in a long line of biased critics—but that might be more difficult, she added, because Schweizer “writes mainly in the voice of a neutral journalist and meticulously documents his sources . . . while leaving little doubt about his view of the Clintons.”

Beyond that affirmation of his methods, Chozick reported that both the Times and the Washington Post—as well as Fox News Channel—had entered into “exclusive” deals with Schweizer to pursue “story lines” in his book. To anyone in the Clinton camp who remembered the Whitewater “scandal,” which began with investigative stories in the Times and the Post, this collaboration between the two leading print outposts of the “liberal media” and hostile Republican sources looked all too familiar.

Scores of readers noticed the incongruous arrangement in Chozick’s story and protested to Margaret Sullivan, the Times public editor. Sullivan posted a column four days later, expressing her distaste for the “exclusive” deal with Schweizer, while expressing complete faith in the paper’s editors to handle such material properly.

But that same day, Sullivan’s mild demurral was overshadowed as the Times presented the fruit of its collaboration with Schweizer on the front page of its print edition and in the top spot on its website—a 4,400-word story vaguely headlined “Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal,” by investigative reporters Jo Becker and Mike McIntire, which explored the disposition of uranium mining rights in Kazakhstan and the United States by a group of Canadian investors that had once included foundation donor Frank Giustra—and that left those strategic reserves in Russian hands.

Before joining the Times staff, Becker had shared a Pulitzer Prize at the Washington Post. She also had shared a byline on the January 2008 Times investigation of Giustra’s uranium deal in the Central Asian nation and his connections with Clinton. Whatever other motives might have inspired the paper’s deal with Schweizer seven years later, the Times editors leapt at a chance to revisit that story—which had provoked an embarrassing public correction in Forbes magazine.

The April 23 story revisited the first Times investigation in detail, even repeating one of its most easily checked errors: the claim that Giustra and Clinton had flown together on Giustra’s jet to Almaty, the Kazakh capital. (Actually, Clinton and his staff had arrived four days later on another friend’s plane.)

But the new story hinted at a more serious accusation: Through a complicated series of deals, Russia had gained control of a portion of U.S. uranium reserves through a Vancouver-based firm called Uranium One, while the Canadian investors who profited had given millions to the Clinton Foundation. The Russian acquisition of those American mines had been approved by the Clinton-led State Department, while those Canadian donations “flowed.”

The story noted that any such deal required the approval of “a number of United States government agencies.” It mentioned that some of the story’s information had been “unearthed” by Schweizer, “a former fellow at the right-leaning Hoover Institution and author of the forth- coming book Clinton Cash,” who had “provided a preview of material in the book to the Times,” which added its own extensive reporting.

“Whether the donations played any role in the approval of the uranium deal is unknown,” the reporters acknowledged. But on the pages of the Times, even the suggestion that donations from Giustra or other investors influenced Hillary amplified Schweizer’s theme. They also reported that Bill Clinton had received $500,000 for a speech delivered in Moscow to a bank connected with Uranium One.

The story’s insinuation was bolstered by the reporters’ discovery that $2.3 million from the Uranium One investors had not been disclosed on the foundation’s website, but made public only in Canadian tax records. A Times editorial the same day complained about the “messiness” of Hillary’s connection with her husband’s foundation, and urged her to impose tighter restrictions on its fundraising.

The question that the Times failed to raise, let alone answer, is why anyone interested in the Russian uranium deal would have sought to influence the secretary of state—when her department had only one vote out of nine on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States that had to approve the deal.

While Clinton Cash attributed a “central role” to Hillary, she hadn’t participated at all in the Uranium One deliberations. According to the assistant secretary of state who represented her on the panel, “Mrs. Clinton never intervened with me on any CFIUS matter.” Knowledgeable observers of CFIUS believe its decisions are dominated by the Pentagon and the Treasury Department, which chairs the committee, not State. And the nine agencies on CFIUS had unanimously approved the sale of the remainder of Uranium One to the Russians in 2013, several months after Hillary had left the government. That sale also required additional approvals from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Canadian regulators.

In short, cultivating the Clintons would have guaranteed nothing for the Uranium One investors. They had given well over $2 million during a period of several years, but a foundation spokesman—and Giustra—insisted that Canadian and provincial tax laws forbade disclosure of their names without their specific consent.

As for Giustra, the Uranium One investors were his friends and former partners, and he was assuredly a very big Clinton donor. But he had divested all of his Uranium One stock almost three years before the Russian sale went through.

Yet somehow all those exculpatory details were ignored in the subsequent coverage on cable TV and talk radio, where Clinton’s opponents talked loosely of “bribery”—often during interviews with Schweizer, whose book debuted on May 24 as the number two Times nonfiction bestseller and stayed on the list for several weeks.

A question that, to the best of my knowledge, has not been asked yet is how did a Canadian company acquire uranium mining rights in the USA, and when did they acquire those rights? Did they buy an American uranium mining company? Considering the amount of foreign investments in the USA, that probability is very likely, and not surprising. Foreign investors, individuals and corporations, invest heavily in the USA and are either sole or part owners of many “American” companies.

Dominick..Why do you think Rybolovlev bought that mansion from Trump in Florida for $995 million knowing that it was declared uninhabitable due to massive damage from a hurricane?

This is what Mueller is now investigation about Trump Organization. How much of his real estate deals to Russians did he knowingly transact for no other reason than to empower Russian property owners with acquired American tax dollars and American legal rights?

Is that what we allow now? Russians to buy up as much of this country as they choose which empowers their government influence with Russian oligarch money? Some of which by the way is laundered through forex banks right in Trump’s own NY City.

Should we be surprised that Trump thinks he can just remove all U.S. Attorneys who have brought Trump Organization cases to court, 2 in NY’s southern district and one in Florida? He plans to replace the 2 in NY with his own lawyer Kasowitz’s former legal firm associate and the one in Florida with a former Trump Celebrity TV contestant he “fired” on that show.

If the current state of affairs continues it may not be long before our society drops to the level of a Third World nation, intellectually and politically speaking. Trump’s statements and actions are often reminiscent of what happens under dictatorships. The worst part of all this is that one third of our population supports our transition to a dictatorial oligarchy, and our elected officials are too afraid to confront Trump. Those that quit in disgust will simply be replaced by radical white supremacists anointed by Bannon.

I’ll be really interested to see what the first charges are out of Mueller’s investigation. Those indicted are supposed to be picked up over the weekend.

Exclusive: First charges filed in Mueller investigation

Washington (CNN) A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller, according to sources briefed on the matter.

The charges are still sealed under orders from a federal judge. Plans were prepared Friday for anyone charged to be taken into custody as soon as Monday, the sources said. It is unclear what the charges are.

A spokesman for the special counsel’s office declined to comment.

          1. Dominick Vila October 28, 2017

Me too. In addition to Flynn, I would not be surprised if Kushner, Donald Jr. and Manafort are indicted. Especially now that we know about the Kremlin memo delivered during the famous meeting at the Trump Tower. What is going to be interesting is going to be the reaction of congressional Republicans. Will they remain loyal to Trump if criminal charges are found and made public? No wonder Trump is going ballistic…

          2. Independent1 October 28, 2017

And here’s a bit of disappointing news: 7 in 10 Americans think that politics under Trump have reached a dangerous low point and the majority of those 7 in 10 think that he and the GOP have established a ‘new normal’ for how America’s politics will work. Although disappointing, it’s certainly not surprising given the disaster that the GOP with now Trump have made of America’s politics over especially the past 22 years since Gingrich started the ball rolling in destroying our democracy (of course he’s had a lot of help from many other devious minded Republicans along the way).

‘It’s just messed up’: Most think political divisions as bad as Vietnam era, new poll shows

Seven in 10 Americans say the nation’s political divisions are
at least as big as during the Vietnam War, according to a new poll, which also finds nearly 6 in 10 saying Donald Trump’s presidency is making the U.S. political system more dysfunctional. The Washington Post-University of Maryland poll — conducted nine months into Trump’s tumultuous presidency — reveals a starkly pessimistic view of U.S. politics, widespread distrust of the nation’s political leaders and their ability to compromise, and an erosion of pride in the way democracy works in America.

Somehow we have to hope that Mueller can expose to a large enough portion of the American public just how outright corrupt not only Donald Trump and his family are, but also many of the GOP leaders who have abetted him along the way to further their own devious objectives. So that although the Democrats are certainly not perfect, the majority of Americans need to start realizing that it’s been the GOP that has been fomenting the majority of our nation’s politically-related problems these past couple decades.

          3. Dominick Vila October 28, 2017

Our only hope, if the Muller investigation does not result in impeachment and removal from Office, is that the ongoing battle between the far right and establishment Republicans may cause the party to implode. Unfortunately for us, the Democratic party does not seem to have a leader to guide us to victory in 2018 and beyond. With the exception of Bernie Sanders articulating the progressive agenda, most Dems are missing in action.

          4. idamag October 30, 2017

A few Republicans have shown there is a level to which they will not sink. Only a few.

        2. Eleanore Whitaker October 28, 2017

The guilty always stick with the guilty like glue. Look at the nearly 100 programs our taxes pay for Trump has already chopped.

One of them is the grant for OSHA training. You could understand chopping this if employers had to pay sufficient taxes to cover this very important grant. Now, all OSHA trainees will have to pay out of pocket if they plan to ever be employed and certified by OSHA. Using just this one example alone, you see that cutting this program has a very serious ripple effect when coupled with the defunding and attempt to get rid of OSHA and the EPA altogether.

Now, all of those most regulated are doing the regulating. So, no OSHA inspectors? No workplace safety. And add to that his week’s Republican passage of the legislation that doesn’t allow employees to sue their corporations.

In other words, employees who die as a result of deliberate employer careless who is protected from lawsuits now gets to commit murder and get away with it.

Isn’t that what you call legislation that doesn’t protect workers and then bankrupts their families who can’t even sue for damages that could have been prevented?

Trump didn’t release the JFK classified documents for one reason: It would have indicted the Russians who were the ones who were giving aid to Cuba back in the early 60s for the sole purpose of destroying the US from offshore.

  3. Dapper Dan October 27, 2017

How many times have you heard Trump disparage Putin or Russia? This week, Frontline aired a wonderful program on Putin in two parts. When I watched Part I, there was an eerie resemblance of the description of Putin by former Kremlin members that match Trump perfectly. The most common of which is to publicly murder Hillary Clinton through regular smear campaigns.

Here is what I gleaned from the Putin story from Russian stallions mouths. Putin so fear loss of power that he has no reservations about ruthlessly removing anyone in his path to autonomous power. When he has journalists killed or like Kara Murza, poisoned 3 times by Putin thugs and managed to survive and Litvenenko, who didn’t, Putin blames the victim and says they committed suicide. How is that possible when Palonium 210 is only accessible by approval of Putin and the Russian government?

What a lot of us never got to see was released in this Putin expose: cell phone photos of how Putin rigged his own election in 2012. There were photos of ballot boxes being stuffed with ballots before voters were even allowed to enter polling places. There were also photos showing the use of erasible pens to remove voters from registries and photos of polling clerks sitting at their desks filling out ballots to stuff the ballot boxes with. When this went viral, Putin was engraged according to 2 former Kremlin members.

Then, he blamed Hillary Clinton for publicly daring to tell the truth about Putin rigging his election and his attempts to force the Ukraine back into Russian control.

Time Magazine’s most recent issue has a great interview with a Russian American author, Masha Gessen. He is quoted in Time, “The regime that exists in Russia is not a totalitarian regime. It’s a mafia state.”

Sound familiar? The mobster in the White House calls forced retirements of Republicans “a win” for himself while Bannon promises to replace ALL Republican incumbents, daring them to do anythign about it. Mafia state?

    1. idamag October 30, 2017

How about the guy who just happened to fall out of a tenth story window or the one that gunned down crossing the street?

      1. Eleanore Whitaker October 31, 2017

Ida, as you know well, I’ve been outnumbered by men my entire life easily by 20 to 1. But, men do provide an education for women who live in “their” world.

The hatred for Hillary by some men (and by reason of their financial or need for gender validity, some women) is so simple at its basest root: a little boys they learn not to trust girls who outwit them. Think about this. You know yourself how often as a little girl the boys would think “they had you dead to rights” and you managed to come up with the one option of escape from their clutches they hadn’t considered, right?

As these childish men move into their teens, that mistrust of women’s ability to stay one step ahead of them in their male games exacerabates until it becomes the “cat and mouse” game as they supposedly mature to adults.

But when little boys find themselves in deep, deep trouble, their instinct is to blame it on those “weak little girls who are just too stupid to live.” rofl.

Now how many of the Republican men can you point out in government today, doing this very same thing?

The entire idea that Hillary Clinton would do ANYTHING remotely connected to the one man who breached a US election because he so hated her is more male fictionalization of those terrible bad girls who just must be soundly smeared and taken down because “they can’t be trusted.”

For women today, the male penchant for domination has grown worse as a result of them iconizing a sexual predator in the White House who like one of the “boys” now condones their double standards.

So, it’s bad for Hillary or the DNC to pay for funding for that dossier on Trump, but it’s great for Donny Jr., Bannon, Manafort? It’s just the worst possible sin on earth when as SOS 4 men die in Benghazi, but how wonderful that a moron who can’t think for himself on his best day of the week, kills 4 in Niger.

The Election Rigging of 2016 was intended to prevent those terrible women who cannot EVER be trusted from getting to No. 1. I mean, really now…HOW DARE WE?

        1. idamag October 31, 2017

I didn’t have the same experiences that you did. I grew up with brothers in a neighborhood where there were more boys than girls. I could climb trees and gather frogs with the best of them. My father gave me lots of encouragement by telling me I could be anything I wanted. My brothers were taught to respect me and my mother. I had a job where I was the only woman with 23 men and they all treated me with respect. To them I was just one of the guys. I am proud to be a woman and have been told I am very feminine so it didn’t make me less than a woman. One time a salesman came into my office and said he would like to take me to dinner. I picked up the phone and said, “Let me see if we are free tonight and my husband hasn’t planned anything else.” He actually did take both of us to dinner, but I am sure that was not what he was planning. Oh, I ran into the rude and uncouth, but managed to hold my own.

          1. Eleanore Whitaker October 31, 2017

Ida, you are precious. You have one thing I don’t: A quick wit that’s like a steel trap door.

I wouldn’t say I was “ever” the victim of male disrespect. Mostly thanks to those brothers who just went about their daily business of being boys grown into men. I count myself lucky they were not gender biased. They fully expected me to keep up with them. While that was sometimes a challenge, I always knew it was to make me as strong as they were.

In business, religion and social realms, I found I could stand back and observe how men treat each other. I took what I liked and left the rest as the saying goes.

I confess that from a very early age, I didn’t have much patience with the male of the species. My Mom’s famous last words were, “Have patience. They are boys.” To this day, I don’t have patience with childish men. I just pretend they are a TV and turn off the “volume” and then laugh at the mute images on the screen. rofl.

  5. bobnstuff October 27, 2017

Here is what the NRC had to say at the time.

“NRC’s review of the transfer of control request determined that the U.S. subsidiaries will remain the licensees, will remain qualified to conduct the uranium recovery operations, and will continue to have the equipment, facilities, and procedures necessary to protect public health and safety and to minimize danger to life or property. The review also determined that the licensees will maintain adequate financial surety for eventual decommissioning of the sites. Neither Uranium One nor ARMZ holds an NRC export license, so no uranium produced at either facility may be exported.”

Can anyone see here anything that was worth bribing Clinton for.

    1. Dominick Vila October 27, 2017

The reason this debunked “scandal” was resurrected had nothing to do with new evidence of bribery or risk to our national security. We are all talking about this issue because Trump managed, once again, to distract our attention from the ongoing Russia investigation, Trumps bizarre and dangerous behavior, his obscene and vindictive actions, his immaturity, and the fact that he is unfit for the Office he holds.

      1. bobnstuff October 27, 2017

It’s only 9 months in and Trump has made Bush look good.

        1. idamag October 30, 2017

My own opinion about Bush was that he wasn’t real smart and Cheney used him. During his second term, he started fighting cheney. Someone has obviously told him what cheney was doing. After listening to Bush’s speech last week, I am convinced I was right.

          1. bobnstuff October 30, 2017

I never was a big Bush fan but if you compare him to Trump he was truly a great president. GW was better educated then Trump, a better public speaker and ten times more honest. Even Chaney, who I really did like is more honest then Trump.

          2. Aaron_of_Portsmouth October 30, 2017

A sad and sobering thought—Cheney more honest than Trump. Bush in hindsight was just a victim of short-sightedness and blind political ambitions, but he at least had a conviction to do what he thought was best for himself AND others.

        2. Aaron_of_Portsmouth October 30, 2017

Who would have thought it possible. Trump is in a league all his own.

this tweeter child minded clown will do more of his BULL tweeting then his job . just acting the tweeter clown throwing anything against the wall to see how much of his BULLSHIfT sticks . all being done so the junky DUMP 45 gets his fix of attention . its truly good a great thing that Mueller has started some thing . the sooner the better . more chance’s of starting to stop the clowns damage he is and will keep on doing to the country . with Mueller at least starting something it will do 2 things one start scaring the DUMP 45 clown more and more every day . two this will bring more of the DONNY DUMP CLOWN SHOW where he will be doing a lot more of his childish minded tweeting . here’s where he will be going and doing more and more of his BULLSHIfTING act . more so he will be tweeting just out of this world acting crazy act (to try to save himself from answering to the law for all his law breaking deeds and knowing its was all illegal ) his tweeting will bring the gang of pinheads = GOP out from being quiet and thy will have to start answering the questions to the people in their district’s thy have .. with DUMP 45 there are so many people connected to him from all sides . ones that dealt with him his CULT ,KLAN, STAFF and so many out side that circle . that’s the Russian’s

  11. ivory69690@yahoo.com October 28, 2017

this is great news that Mueller is going to start his charges on these people from all the investigations that he has been doing .the ones he will start charging very well could be giving info to Mueller to get better deals plea bargaining . it will more then likely come down to who want to serve time for the DUMP 45 clown. the loyalty for the dump 45 might change when one is to go to jail for years for him . as the tweeter child clown has already started again on Hillary and Pres. Obama tweeting his bull . this is just more of the DUMP distraction taking things away from him self . but really he is already so deep in his own BULL way over his pee for brains head .as ive said he will be doing more BULL DUMP 45 tweeting then his job

  12. ivory69690@yahoo.com October 28, 2017

. AS ALWAYS for he has no clue what so ever of his job anyways .I think its great that Mueller has started something now ( I think he should of sooner and others feel he should of waited longer ) I think now that he has started its going to be making a lot of people involved worried a lot more .as the reason why I thought Mueller should started this sooner is to slow the DUMP 45 down he has a short attention span and with that he would be going a lot more to his child minded tweeter account . then less time destroying more of the country and government . theres a part of the law that says not all the time the left hand dose not have to know all of what the right (this case wrong ) hand is doing for all hands are guilty . at this time with Mueller DUMP 45 will be doing his best to distract as much as he can . but DUMP 45 is in the start middle and end of all this he has made . he will try hard to distract but he wont fool every one . see every thing go’s through him just the way he wants it . and he will pull the I didn’t know this or I didn’t know anything about that . at some point ones that could and would be going to jail for DUMP 45 might see them being loyal is not worth him . yes he will play a lot of being stupid to get out of the trouble bed he made himself but stupid im sure wont make it for him being a moron and an anal cavity head to toe

The POS in the White House is not smart. In his own circles, he got by with a lot of criminal things. He expects to continue to get by with these things. ///that is true what got him by in his evil life is all BULLSHIfTING and bulling . and in his own businesses he had only to worry about things until it got so bad he bailed himself out by claiming bankrupt. ( and before he claimed it he worked his fraud con and scamming . so he would maybe even make money off his bankrupt ) now the DUMP 45 clown is in a different world . he is in the government world where no longer can he bail himself out with a bankrupt . this is the time NOW where the government cant let him slide on anything and give him the MAX’S in all the charges and have him serve the most time . let the POS rot and die in a cage where he belongs . and with the LAW & GOVERNMENT cant get back all the ones he scammed and screwed but burying this evil Satan like evil clown could make ones he screwed feel a little better . it wont get back anything just knowing that the DUMP 45 CLOWN SHOW IS CANCELLED can make one feel a little better anyways

  13. ivory69690@yahoo.com October 28, 2017

In the “Fake” universe Trump and his allies have artificially constructed, what is Truth and Moral is False and Immoral, or vise versa.
Certitude regarding proper behavior is nonexistent, and anyone is allowed to make up his or her own definition of reality, assign their own assessment of what is relevant or not.
Which is why the GOP and Trump are desperate to dig up the dead and ghosts of events past to assuage their anxieties.

  16. ivory69690@yahoo.com October 31, 2017

The ‘dossier’ and the uranium deal & Hillary ,pres. Obama all these things has nothing to do with DUMP 45 nor anything to do with what’s going on these days 1st thing neither of these people are in the white house . 2nd had anything to do with what DUMP 45 his CULT, KLAN , STAFF or any of his brain dead followers did with the help of Russia’s hacker did for DUMP 45 . face book , tweeter and Google again with the hacking of Russia’s had 126 million (about 1/3 of American’s ) very well could of and more like had been influenced seeing how the election was won by less then 80,000 votes with in just 3 states . so saying that 126 million at least people were touched by the DUMP 45 and Russian hacking with only 80,000 people in 3 states was what won the white house for DUMP 45 . and why not say Russia also ? with these numbers and all the Russian’s BULL INFO thy hacked into the USA for the people to read , hear and see .how can anyone with even the littlest of common sense think that the American people were not influenced and swayed to the DUMP 45 side of the track ?

The report alleged that the Russian government had cultivated Trump for years:

The “Russian regime has been cultivating, supporting and assisting TRUMP for at least 5 years. Aim, endorsed by PUTIN, has been to encourage splits and divisions in western alliance”. It maintained that Trump “and his inner circle have accepted a regular flow of intelligence from the Kremlin, including on his Democratic and other political rivals”. It claimed that Russian intelligence had “compromised” Trump during his visits to Moscow and could “blackmail him”.

    — Mother Jones, October 31, 2016[11]

The report further alleged that there were multiple in-person meetings between Russian government officials and individuals established as working for Trump.[12][13] The former intelligence officer continued to share information with the FBI, and said in October 2016 that “there was or is a pretty substantial inquiry going on

      1. Eleanore Whitaker November 1, 2017

Dollar to a donut, Trump will try to use that worn out old excuse that he was a “victim” of Russians trying to “use” him. Yeah sure.

The fact is that Trump associated with Russians and Putin for the same reason as always: Greed.

        1. ivory69690@yahoo.com November 1, 2017

DUMP 45 id bet was the ring leader he BULL SHIFT and was the planner whole thing he conned PUTTHEAD for the white house . and promised PUTTHEAD the world . but not Russia will get nothing . I believe before the major hacking from Russia DUMP 45 had this whole thing planed out . and telling Russia he would make big time $$$ with him in the house . funny thing it would been easy for PUTTHEAD to check DUMP 45 pass and just how he is . easy back round check that PUTTHEAD could of done . Russia has big time things over DUMP 45 PEE FOR BRAINS HEAD one im still think its video of DUMP 45 molesting child from when he was over there in 2006 or when ever it was . and now I think Russia has al this dealing to steal the white house all on recording that will hang the POS . and I think that brick will fall at some time . like when PUTTHEAD see that DUMP 45 played him like a fool . Russia might even put a contract out on the MORON I rather see the DUMP 45 do his remaining time on earth in jail locked up . and then while he in there his kids will forget him and just let him rot in there

  19. ivory69690@yahoo.com November 1, 2017

now’s the time when all will start seeing DUMP 45 roll into a fuller time of his BULL acting act . where he will be his regular self an anal cavity from head to toe . he will start going over the top of his BULLSHIfT . for he knows he himself is making his swamp level home rise up to over slow . and every thing is falling in on him . any of his loyal people now will be choosing between loyalty d years in jail then DUMP 45 loses . Mueller im sure has so many ways he is going at the MORON it will make his pee for brains head spin like a top spinning out of control . DUMP 45 will start his acting crazy and insane . no one should fall for that . for he knows all he ever dose and mean those things just the way thy happen (ALWAYS ) he is yes the biggest jerk and anal cavity from head to toe . but that’s not crazy or insane its just the real time DUMP 45 personality . ALWAYS knowing and doing what he dose . if anything its just him being that EVIL but don’t let his EVIL fool you to being crazy of insane . (that’s what he want all to do ) he planed this from a long time ago he thinks and calls it get out of his trouble he made for himself free card . his deck of cards in all jokers like him ! Mueller im hoping will show DUMP 45 that he isn’t going to get away with this abortion he made for himself . and his many friends he thinks he has will be pulling a DUMPSTER DONNY trick now throwing DUMP 45 under the bus to save themselves !

Deflecting and redirecting blame. So while Trump hauls out his “I didn’t know” card now that evidence mounts against him, up to and including a photo of Trump in Trump Tower in April 2016 sitting at a conference table with Manafort, 2 Russians, Pappadopolis and Sessions, he pulls his double standard.

Hillary must take the blame for everything her campaign staffers did in 2016 by being thrown in jail. But Trump absolves himself of all blame for the violations to FEC rules that prohibit any contact or discussions about US elections with foreign adversaries who are under US sanctions, meeting with these same foreign adversaries to plot how to smear a US candidate for president and how to use information provided by his own sons and son-in-law to the Russians to target groups of voters with false data and information.

sneaky snaky DUMP 45 I called this the other day just the way I said it DUMP45 slimy greedy hands would be in it . ((Well, as Ronald Regan would say, “here we go again.” Whitefish Energy Holdings, with only two employees at the time a $300 million-plus no-bid contract was awarded through the Trump administration, is yet another chapter in the quid pro quo of administration politicians. /// Let’s see. Whitewater Energy Holdings is located in Whitefish, Montana, which also happens to be the hometown of Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke. Hummm…. also, the firm has ties to Rick Perry and Donald Trump, both of whom received significant campaign contributions in the 2016 election cycle. // Oh, by the way, the American Public Power Association, of which Puerto Rico’s electric power company is a member, is a longtime organizer for networks of state and regional power utilities to restore electricity. That’s what happened in Texas and Florida after Irma. Florida Power and Light said the day after Irma’s departure, over 20,000 workers from 30 states and Canada were deployed to restore power. So why not appeal to the APPA for assistance? Nope, a no-bid, $300 million-plus contract was awarded instead. // The Washington Post reported the bulk of Whitefish’s workforce, subcontractors, will be paid $462 per hour for a supervisor and $319.04 for a lineman. Whitefish also charges $332 per worker for nightly accommodations and $80 per day for food allowance. I wonder how the UTIER, Puerto Rico’s electrical workers’ union, feels about those wages? // So American taxpayers, we again get taken for a ride over no-bid contracts which grease the hands of political cronies in Washington, but yep this time it’s the Trump administration. Remember the movie “War Dogs?” Maybe the next one will be called “Energy Dogs.”

  22. ivory69690@yahoo.com November 1, 2017

I never believe a word that comes out this hair-bag mouth anyways listening to her makes my skin crawl //// White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Friday that the federal government had nothing to do with the decision to award a small Montana company with a contract to repair Puerto Rico’s electrical grid.

“This is a contract that was determined by the local authorities in Puerto Rico,” Sanders said, noting that the administration is awaiting the results of an ongoing audit surrounding the decision.

The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority awarded a $300 million contract to Whitefish Energy last month, despite the fact that the firm had only two full-time employees when Hurricane Maria hit.

The company has come under additional scrutiny due to its ties to a donor of President Donald Trump and the fact that it is located in Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke’s hometown of Whitefish.

Sanders said Friday that during an Oval Office meeting with Trump, Zinke denied playing a role in the company getting the contract

DUMP 45 DONT CARE health care plan is the same as DUMP DONT CARE TAX PLAN FOR THE USA this plan will build the country’s debt $$1 . 5 TRILLION with a T . how the plans if any to try to pay that off (with DUMP 45 he rather just keep in the DEBT ZONE )but to help pay it one way will be the middle class and lower will get hit by this one way or the other the GOP will plant this DEBT TREE in the yard of anyone but the GREEDY BASTARD RICH the 1 & 2 percent . which will go into and come out at the Medicare and Medicaid Services of the people . this is how the gang of pinheads plan to get money to feed the greedy rich bastards .taking away from the people that need these things the most to give to the ones that are all taken care of and don’t need these thing like the rest of the country . think about this if it was that the 1 & 2 % greedy bastard was to pay just a fair and same amount of just a PERCENTAGE as every one else . today this country very well have no debt at all . BILL CLINTON was one that made that idea come to light .and with not having no debt think of what the money could be going to even just the interest of the debt today .there wouldn’t be things to cut for the 1 & 2 % thy would be paying the same % as every one else this would give the USA a surplus THINK OF THAT THE USA HAVING MONEY IN OUR BANK

  28. ivory69690@yahoo.com November 2, 2017

DUMP 45 calling his tax cut a big beautiful Christmas present ! yes im sure DUMPSTER DONNY the greedy rich bastards 1 & 2 % im sure will see it the way you bullshit it out !! but what about the other 98 % to 99 % of the country and people ? DUMP 45 question to that (((( what about the other 98 % to 99 % of the country and people ?))) DUMP 45 says WHO ?

  29. ivory69690@yahoo.com November 2, 2017

The release of the proposal accelerates a frantic political effort that could impact almost every American household and business. In a number of cases, the tax plan cuts back on tax benefits for families and individuals while expanding tax benefits for companies.

  30. ivory69690@yahoo.com November 2, 2017

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act would lower the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 20 percent and collapse the seven tax brackets paid by families and individuals down to four. It would create giant new benefits for the wealthy by cutting business taxes, eliminating the estate tax, and ending the alternative minimum tax. YUP JUST WHAT THE MIDDLE CLASS NEEDS MORE MONEY TO THE COMPANYS
